Iniesta has such ability that he can carry players. You are right, the minute he left, Gomes had no ladder to the Barcelona level.

Gomes played fine after Iniesta left but switched over to the left where less involved.

Yeah he did. Name me one technical or physical quality he offers to the team. He has absolutely nothing. No speed, no technique, no passing, slow thinker, atrocious finishing, poor in air despite his frame and not much use when defending. He is a terrible player.

He played well last night, was strong on ball kept it moving, closed well.
