André Gomes

Good for him. He suffered a lot at barça, i don't think it was because he is a flop, it's because he didn't fit and then of course, one thing leads to another and he goes into depression and his performance goes down and down and down.
I read he is playing very well, maybe barça wants to wait for possible big offers from other clubs if Everton doesn't offer big Money. Interest by Juve and Manchester United was shown in the past, so who knows.

We should definitely be able to regain the money we spent on him. Maybe even make a profit if he keeps this up.

Happy for him, used to shit on him a lot but in the right system he actually has something to offer. And you can clearly see the difference how there is no toxic negative aura in that Everton team like here.

Digne, Mina, Gomes, Alcacer.

It is interesting that we have sold one player from each line this summer and each are having very good seasons so far as starters.

They are good yes. But don't forget they are at clubs that are at least two levels below us.

No doubt they are good players, just not good enough for Barca.

I would take Digne and Mina back though. Digne for the depth and Mina because I maintain that once adjusted to European football he will be one of the top CBs in Europe.

But these guys performing is more of a case for Barcelona-Tax regarding sales. The level we play at with our training should mean that our sales should cost a premium. Madrid have understood this for years, while until recently we have always shot ourselves in the foot and de-valued sales.

Gomez just got man of the match in the Merseyside derby :)

All three ex Barca players are thriving in a supposedly tougher league!!

Oh and under a decent manager...

Was switching channels and watched some minutes of Liverpool Everton derby just to watch Gomes. Watching him become more exciting than watching Barca!

He is a talented player who is playing with confidence and benefitting from a young, bright coach in Marco Silva. It’s similar to Richarlison last season who lost form after Silva left Watford.
