Pretty average IMO, playing in the Xavi role doesn't suit him. He didn't move the ball fast enough at times, there were a few nice bursts forward but his passing wasn't that effective.

it's just that when he's in the xavi role, there no one like himself to support him. When Xavi is around, he has the liberty of having iniesta running around and supporting him.
