Why would you need Xaviesta when you can still win without them???

It's not about needing Xavi & Iniesta. It's just that you need to play players like Iniesta regularly to keep them sharp. IMO. 1 game rest is OK. 2 games rest is a bit much. But almost 3 games rest? Crazy.

You have to keep in mind that Iniesta recently came back from injury, also. Could be that he had a minor tweak in training or something.

lets make this clear, thiago is everything iniesta is and more, while we have the most expensive keita replica in the world making runs from deep and scoring goals, their is not need for the pale little man, send him to england to prove himself against stoke and the likes and then maybe he can comeback to only warm the bench yet again

This is vulgar. Even as an attempt at tasteless humor...

He was on fire a couple weeks back, but now he has lost it... His passing and dribbling were unusually poor tonight, not to mention his finishing, especially in Alexis' cross in the second half...

Yes, he was poor today. That missed chance could've changed the game.

Well, yeah, I mean poor to his standards... Also, I'm not holding that miss against him, clearly it's not his job to be a sharp finisher, but I got the feeling he could have done better especially as it would have been crucial...
