I walk the line
I thought he was our best player last night given that even with the anti-football from chelsea he still managed to create alot and cause them problems. He looked very sharp as usual, and was never scared to take on players. Ballsack should have got a second yellow from his challenge on AI. I dont like to blame referees of being biased...usually i believe they're just crap..but it does seem suspect that ballack is german and so was the ref. Im not calling for UEFA to assign referees that hold no ties to any of the players, but cant the referees just do their job instead of letting personal bias get in the way. If ballack plays a part in the winner for chelsea i will hold this man responsible for ruining european football this year. No way can chelsea get to the final of the competition, and possibly win it, after the tactics they showed.

He should shoot more he had a couple of oppurtunities to shoot but chose to pass. Good performance he Xavi and Messi were definitely on it against Chelsea.

Great post man, really enjoyed reading it. I have a feeling that iniesta will start working on his shooting. He knows that is the one point of his game that is lacking. Goals from the midfield can be very important in scoring that first goal. Especially with iniesta's level of consistency he would be a great threat. Perhaps not now but dont forget he is just 24. Im sure within 2 seasons he will improve his shooting.

I would be so happy if Iniesta improves his shoting from distance, or even Xavi, it's the best thing that can happen to Barcelona, because we all know our style is passing on the ground with amazing combinations, but in reference to the chelsea game i was begging for someone to freeking shoot from long distance, at one point of the game i wish we had a player like Forlan that will certainly test the other keeper with a few shots outside the box.
my point is if Iniesta improves his shooting, i wouldnt hesistate in calling him the best midfielder in the world.

I agree with you there - at the moment in situations where we need to shoot, we really only have Keita willing to take long-range shots. Yaya has a few goes, but since he's our holding midfielder, he's usually too far out to shoot. Ronaldinho in his best days, and perhaps Deco, used to do that for us, but since then we have become very much a >18 yard box team.

Yea, it's the only way we can score when other teams park the bus. We obviosuly can't dribble through, and we don't have a target man to head in the crosses which Alves showers into the box, so shooting from distance is our best option. Sometimes it looks like we're only willing to score by walking the ball into the net ..

Another big reason to bring in a guy like Gourcuff. He has EXCELLENT shooting technique. Actually, he just scored two brilliant goals on Monday against Rennes.

Have a look..
