Great post man, really enjoyed reading it. I have a feeling that iniesta will start working on his shooting. He knows that is the one point of his game that is lacking. Goals from the midfield can be very important in scoring that first goal. Especially with iniesta's level of consistency he would be a great threat. Perhaps not now but dont forget he is just 24. Im sure within 2 seasons he will improve his shooting.
I would be so happy if Iniesta improves his shoting from distance, or even Xavi, it's the best thing that can happen to Barcelona, because we all know our style is passing on the ground with amazing combinations, but in reference to the chelsea game i was begging for someone to freeking shoot from long distance, at one point of the game i wish we had a player like Forlan that will certainly test the other keeper with a few shots outside the box.
my point is if Iniesta improves his shooting, i wouldnt hesistate in calling him the best midfielder in the world.
I agree with you there - at the moment in situations where we need to shoot, we really only have Keita willing to take long-range shots. Yaya has a few goes, but since he's our holding midfielder, he's usually too far out to shoot. Ronaldinho in his best days, and perhaps Deco, used to do that for us, but since then we have become very much a >18 yard box team.
