This match kinda showed how much we need him in tough games, no one else was able to connect midfield to attack after he left so messi had to drop to midfield and do runs to even muster an attack.

I thought the Arda challenge on Alves was a terrible failure by Lahoz, typical really...Red worthy even but not even a yellow...Mascherano booked for a nonexistent foul on Costa, meanwhile Diego had repeated fouls without ever a booking - particularly the one against Alba on a counter...Piqué being booked and giving Atletico a fk for a scoring opportunity for doing nothing more than blocking a pass out of bounds

Barcelona on the receiving end of double the fouls received yet more bookings, that is typical Lahoz...He gives license for overly physical play that rewards players for fouling against technical sides and negating their passing ability
