And if you compare their assists iniesta has made better assists just this season than zidane had ever made.

But yeah Zidane is better imo because he was a much better goal scorer than Iniesta has ever been, and he did it with both his right & left foot and also scored headers.
Like Iniesta, Zidane often shined in big matches too

By that logic Cesc is a better player than both of them since he's a better goalscorer
I don't think amount of goals has much to do with the debate since neither of them were prolific goal scorers in any sense of the word. They scored important goals when their teams needed them though. But in no other attribute can zidane be considered better than iniesta.

When we're talking about central attacking midfielders who both have the same qualities, we have to add their goal scoring abilities to the equation. Last time i checked, you need to score to win games, and when it comes to that, Zidane edges Iniesta out. And like i said earlier, he did it with both foot and his head very well.

Iniesta can shoot equally well with either foot. Yes Zidane has scored more but iniesta's assists blows him out of the water quality wise, he's a better passer, better dribbler. Zidane is better with his head because he's tall. And if Iniesta played in a different system where he actually was the main attacking force and he had a coach that forced him to shoot more he'd have just as much goals.
Zidane and Iniesta about the same number of assists but Zidane has played 200 more games. AND he didnt have to fight with Xavi and Messi for those assists either.

So you're trying to blame the system for Iniesta not scoring more when he tries to or for him not shooting more and not having a very good eye for going for goal? lol
And no Iniesta is by no means a better dribbler than Zidane (they're both very good dribblers who dribble swiftly), neither are most of his assists of much higher quality than Zidane's.
Because its not his job to be a consistent scorer in this system and yes Iniesta is a better dribbler.
Show me an assist like that please.

Zidane's main Job wasn't to score either. Every attacking minded player is required to score occasionally (strikers more so than others), because once again you need to score to win a game and nothing states that only the strikers must score the goals.
I find it funny that you're using to beauty of assists as an argument but yet don't want goal scoring abilities to be included in the argument.
