Far worse season than Cesc? Nope, not at all. He has actually been among our best players this season before everything and everyone went downhill.

This too actually, before the crash he was the only one of the verterans who showed any heart and carried us for most of our games.

First half Cesc was better but Iniesta was better in the second half and in the big games and thats what really counts. I don't think Cesc should be sold btw theres nobody except maybe ozil in his league that we can get and ozil would cost an ass load.

He only had about one month of top iniesta form this season. Worst was when the contract renewal wasnt going along smoothly. Opposite of last year when was great from the start till he encountered Javi Martinez in April.

Down the home stretch (the actual big games) he was as ineffective as Cesc. As spark said, he only really had that one month of great performances

He was great in both the last Classico and the first leg of the atletico cl tie but thats when it ended. The team basically imploded after that game though.

His form was erratic and he only hit his full stride for 1-2 months. But hey everyone was sub par this season so I'm not worried.

I'm guessing you're saying this only based on his performance in the return leg of the classico, both legs against City (where Cesc was also good, but Iniesta was better) and in the CL 1st leg against Athleti. Because otherwise, there's no other argument you can use to justify what you're saying imo.

NO. i mean iniesta is by far our best player this season. i can't think off a single game where he wasn't in the top 3 MOTM (maybe first month of the season). thing i love most about iniesta this season and most of last season is he's developed some amazing consistency and performs at his level no matter how dogshit the rest of the team is.

i may be completely biased cause i fan boy big tiem

Iniesta was not that great this season and was poor in most of the big games.

In many games Fabregas was as good if not better than him yet he gets nowhere near the criticism.
