Iniesta was not that great this season and was poor in most of the big games.

In many games Fabregas was as good if not better than him yet he gets nowhere near the criticism.

-Assist to Neymar in the first league Clasico and great game overall
-2nd MOTM only to Messi in the 2nd league Clasico with a goal
-Our best player vs Atletico in first leg with an assist
-Best player in Atletico 2nd leg even though it was a horrible game for the team
-Great games vs. City and assist in 2nd leg

His only non-amazing big games were CDR final and vs. Atletico in the league

No I am saying Iniesta was poor before xmas and was patchy at best after it.

Yet people ignore his poorer games as he is not one of the favourite targets.

He was terrible in the away game against Atletico and Man City in the CL. Atletico home/away in league. Real in the CL final and Ateltico away in Super Copa.

Relative to the team, he was our best player vs Atletico. You can't pull out a 10/10 when the entire team plays like dog turd. And he was very good against City away, giving the pass for Messi's penalty and having a good game all round.

I don't think you know what the word "terrible" means if you classify some of those games as terrible. For a definition, refer back to Cesc in every big game he's played.

obviously he offers little defensively our two am's in the middle three do nothing apart from help the pressure game, not like they are making interceptions left and right. it was always like this. interception comes from busi or the back four after the front five do pressing.

as for cesc vs iniesta... both had good and bad moments this season. it's hard to split them but iniesta's peak form is better than cesc. though iniesta was poor by his standards in some big games this season.

I will take it you are saying Iniesta was the best player against Atletico this season? Well thats just not the case. Other than the last 20 odd mins at home to Atletico in the CL he was poor.

How do you think Neymar and Alves performed in the biggest games?

I am not singling out Iniesta, I am saying they were almost all poor in the biggest games and Iniesta should not be held up as if he was any different.

Masch was the best player in the first three games against Atletico soon followed by Pique.

Neymar scored twice against them in three starts.

This is the exact bias I am speaking about. Don Andres actually believes Iniesta was the top player against Atletico.

Was talking about the return leg in the CL in which Pique was injured and Masch was ball watching for Koke's goal. In that game (horrible game), Iniesta was the best player relative to the rest of the team. He was the best in the home leg as well.

I even conceded earlier that he was poor in the league vs. Atletico (although 1st game he only even played one half and did pretty well), and in the Supercup he wasn't brilliant in the 2nd leg either.
