Btw remember when Iniesta was injured before 2009 UCL final and he was not even allowed to shoot yet produced a masterclass performance? Now you have players can't even play because they are not fit from a year ago.

He was amazing in that game. I am sure Messi won fans' MOTM that night but I thought Iniesta was the best player on the pitch. He ran the entire game.

It's truly impossible to hate this guy given the type of person that he was. For me he was on the same level with Zidane, more quiet and less physical but the same big game player while also being more consistent than the Frenchman. The last of his kind.

Pirlo said it best. Unpredictable. You never knew what he would do, which is the sign of a genius player. Sometimes he kept it one touch, other times he took the ball and slalomed past 2-3 opponents, other times he delivered the killer blow himself when others couldn't.
