Looks really strong at the back. Good tournament, excellent game yesterday. Maybe not in crucial games just yet but for the season ahead, we should not be afraid to start him in many games against medicore Primera opposition and build on his first team experience

I thought I mentioned him but yeah Fontas did play well...Although, tbf, he wasn't really tested defensively either...I like how comfortable he is in that position & confident going forward...You can see he's just the sort of player Pep can have trust in

Wasn't hugely impressed when he played last season but he's looked more comfortable so far in preseason. Hopefully it continues.

Think he is definitely one for the future. Would probably benefit more from playing alongside an experienced Centre-Half while learning the ropes

Wow, I totally disagree. I think his positioning is pretty excellent which is why he can make up for a lack of speed. Control on the ball, poise and vision is great.

Played amazing last night against man u only problem he had was guarding Nani when he got blown by but that is understandable
