Just going to leave this in here:

If we do sign ADM for the reported £64 million our net spend including that fee from 2002 is only around £330m.

Other clubs since 2002

Real Madrid-£670m
Chelsea-£580m
City-£550m

Still comfortably behind.

We overpaid but it is worth it to have somebody who can get people out of there seats and add some much needed urgency and pace in the team which we lacked so badly last week and all of last year. Im not too keen on his antics as a person and how he used to dive but if he puts in his all and gives 100% then i cannot complain and im sure he will win me over very, very quickly.

This is if it even happens haha, i hope i haven't jinxed it.

80M euros. Mu really paid that incredible fee that PSG refused to pay.

As much as Suarez. Either RM is good at selling or Suarez was really a bargain.

(and before people jump on me, yeah I rate Suarez above players like Di Maria because he can do almost as many assists while scoring tons of goals himself)

Why not both? RM always gets a lot for they players, Di Maria is a 50-60m player, so they milked it really well. Suarez for 80m is not a steal but a good buy in the current market (Luiz for 50m ).

Di Maria is a 50-60M players only after the past season. IIRC last year, people said that he was worth 30, max 40.

Also remember he doesn't want to be used like he was in Madrid. He might not get the same stats as last year if he doesn't play in midfield like Carlo used him.

Maybe it's just me tho. While I'm happy PSG didn't pay those 80M (and to me 65M was already too much), many PSG fans are mourning right now.

That said people can't tell I am an hypocrit, since I was against this transfer to PSG from the start if people read me here.

So, price? Ballbag says £60 plus add ons, oppo fans say anything from £70+ to a £billion. Sounds like we are being shafted regardless but that had to happen without CL.

To stay on topic: Di Maria isn't the hero Manchester United needs. Especially not at that price. He can be absolutely world class at times but he's got consistency issues and where would he fit in at utd?

Well that kinda proves my point...Most EPL haters here probably know all 20 EPL teams.....

Not really. I could only be sure of about 10 teams. City, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Everton... Tottenham.

Edit: Oh and Liverpool

No CL football is telling. They are still a huge lure to players but top players want CL football, doubt he'd be willing to play for peanuts.

$$$$$$$$$$$$ is a huge lure. They are in a state over 100 million net spend since January with Di Maria still to come and after that they'll still need more players. Woodward vs Zubi would be an interesting battle.
