Something Suarez used to do for us, but he doesn't even fight anymore. He doesn't press. He doesn't play well and doesn't fight and just comes across as entitled.

Yeah, this was shades of Liverpool and early Barca Suarez.
Griezmann was fighting for every ball and pressing like crazy. Something you don't see in Suarez anymore.
For such a small guy, it's amazing how much chaos he causes the backline when receiving a long ball.

With Suarez staying and Valverde still the coach, Griezmann will end up as 2nd LB
I still dont understand how Barca plan to fit all of these stars into the first 11, one of Suarez/Coutinho/Dembele/Griez will be benched.
Messi obviously cant be benched, or even take a rest(got to claim those topscorer titles), so there are only two positions up there to fight for.

It just tells you the management and the board doesn't have any clue. It's been like this since Zubizarreta days. It took them many years to have a proper defense replacement for Puyol and it will take them many years to have a proper midfileld. We won UCLs when we had WC midfileders. Real are winning UCLs when they replaced average midfilders like Gago, Diarra Guti...etc to WC Modric, Kroos and Isco.
Adding Greizmann without proper WC midfielder, we will crash again in UCL.
