he's surely better than suarez, that can't be denied. and in today's market it's a very good two or three year solution while barca works on its long term striker plan.

Why the hate on Suarez? He'll get back to his form if he gets fit. Have you already forgotten how insane this man was before Valverde?

Griezmann isn't the right player for Barca, we should go for Kai Havertz. And yeah he's 19, but he's insanely mature for his age - kinda like de Ligt.

The team that destroyed Barcelona had only one WC class player, the rest won't make the Barcelona or Real first team selection. You can resurrect Pele and Maradona but the fact is we lack fighting spirit, we are uninspiring, we lack character and personality.

Buying this star and that won't make us better really. Griezmann won't add anything we don't have already.

Wow, well said. Exactly how I feel about this team. It's not about talent per say, but lack of will and character.

I would not mind him if he is coming to replace Suarez. Otherwise, it would 100% be another bad move. We do not need to crowd our attack.

Malcom Dembele and Messi + a starter CF and a backup, Stuani? Giroud? Llorente?

Griezemann is a bottler, we have many of them already at our club! We need someone who is mentally strong! I’m tired of these mentally weak players who fold.

Wouldn't mind him. Will score goals and can contribute right away and for the next 3-4 years.

We need instant quality for Messi's last years.

I would go for a classic #9 instead. Jovic or maybe a gamble on Richarlison. e.g. Dembele-Jovic-Messi.

Messi loves playing just off a striker who can occupy the cb's, make runs etc, bullying opposing defenders, finish.

Greizmann himself plays this role like Messi and is more of a winger/second striker playing just off Giroud/Morata/Costa.

I get not wanting him for reasons about his personality and the whole documentary debacle. I get criticizing his potential fit in our system. There are also other players I would choose to buy ahead of him (like Jovic)

But I will never understand the bottler comments. That is just so low effort in terms of thinking. Dude scored in the WC final, and scored or assisted in every single KO game and was their best offensive player even more than Mbappe.

He scores/assists in loads of big games all the time for club and country, so it's not like he genuinely just drops his performance against elite teams. Missed a penalty in the Euro and CL final, sure. But he has plenty of history of otherwise showing up when it matters. He even won top scorer and was the best player of that same Euro tournament ffs. So it's dumb as hell IMO to just label him as a bottler.
