If him coming in means one of those bums in either Suarez or Coutinho will leave then its good news.

I don’t look at it like we are paying 120m to buy Griezmann, i look at like we are paying 120m to get rid of Suarez and/or Coutinho.

Unbelievable deal.

For me, I rather have Jovic than Griezmann.

I'll take either, or Son or Kane. +/-s for each but I kind of think AG is the safest pick thought pretty sure any of the 4 would really help us. Jovic has the highest potential but also potential fail rate--but I'd take that chance.

Yeah I didn't think the AG is a bottler point deserved a response, but glad some did. I don't like the antics but on the field he is a great talent and great team player.

I don't think AG's a bottler, but my problem would be his fit in the system. This would be more apparent if a new manager comes in without having a discussion on the use of griezmann. He feels like a Coutinho signing for me, a big name signing without much analysis of how to get the best out of him and the best use of him in the team. but that's just my opinion.

The reason I would prefer Jovic would be because he has a different profile to the rest of the team besides Suarez and I think he's young and talented enough to improve on his team playing skills. But I can see your point that he has a potential fail rate.

We are the mother of all bottlers so I don’t mind if he is a bottler. I don’t want him here because he will not do well here and he isn’t that good, just like I did not want KPB to be here.

Greasyman won't fit in our classic formation. We need a natural no.9 like Jovic or Icardi.

Avoid Icardi like a plague--both for how he plays on the pitch (greedy player) and his off the pitch impact. Kane, Son, Griezmann are far superior players and Jovic likely too.

To be fair to Coutinho who is a marvellous player .. I really don’t blame him in any way whatsoever .. it’s all down to the poor manager .
Where ever Coutinho goes he will arguably be the best player there and be getting the same wonderful reviews he got with Liverpool

You can only blame coutinho for his jackass attitude. I think a lot of fans could look pass his ridicolous transfer fee and wages IF he just showed some die-hard effort. But he isnt that kind of personality. We cant blame him for being failcasted by sporting sector and playing "bad" at the wing because our style and players doesnt suit him. If someone is to blame its also not valverde because cou cant play midfield, but sporting sector who thought he was suitable.

I would give Coutinho another chance if we change the manager. I see the most we need in the next transfer window is a manager before anything else.
With De Jong coming our midfield is good, and we have Rabiot for free if we want to add more young players. Need to get a backup potential 9 and a backup left back

There's a growing fear within the Atletico Lockerroom and Club that Griezmann will leave this summer.
