I disagree.

disagree or Diss A. Gree-zmann jaja

he did it at the WC and he stepped in it all over again, giving Big Mac the Cap AM military salute

He's getting trolled all over the net cuz French salute is palms facing out

or maybe he did it Steve Rogers style cuz it's an offence if done by civilians ( -_・) ︻デ═一

Rodrigo could be just a lie to turn off the attention from Griezmann and so that AM couldn't fill a lawsuit against us:
Like: we never negotiated with Griezmann until July.
And even in June we didn't know whom we will buy.

Or, the other option, a classical Barto's move, to make like a Griezmann was not an easy task.
We tried, he resisted, we moved to other option, and then finally a Santa Barto managed to get a player.

Since Griezmann can play at all 3 attacking positions, I don't believe that we will buy BOTH Griezmann and Rodrigo.
If we sign him, either Dembele won't play at all, or Rodrigo won't play at all.
Not to mention that Malcom surely won't play at all.

Imagine a round 1 of La Liga:
Griezz, Suarez, Messi
Round 2:
Dembele, Suarez, Messi
Round 3:
Griezz, Suarez, Messi
Round 4:
Dembele, Suarez, Messi

Rodrigo would get a chance once in 5 or 10 matches.
I mean, during with MSN, Lucho wasn't able to even give too much playing time to a 4th option: Pedro.
And with Messi, Suarez, Griezz, Dembele, Rodrigo=we would have 5 options.

The only option is if a board thinks that Dembele could be injured all the time again, so we'll need a 4th option then in Rodrigo :/

I agree, I just posted some figures in response to luftstalag's post. FFP won't be a problem. The only way I see Rodrigo in addition to Griezman coming is if Coutinho, Dembele and Malcolm are sold. I.e the club has tired of Dembele's unproffessional attitude (allegedly).

Most likely Rodrigo rumours are jsut the makings of Jorge Mendes

Lol not surprising at all. He's an utter idiot with the Same thinking process as a 12-15 year old kid.
Genuinely think his knowledge and understanding of the world stem mainly from pop culture.

Don't forget 50ME for Dani Parejo :valverde2:

But lets say, realistically:
De Jong 86 ME
De ligt 70 ME
Griezmann 120 ME
Rodrigo 60 ME
Backup GK x ME

Total purchase: 336+x ME

Sales, realistically:
Coutinho 100 ME
Malcolm 30 ME
Semedo 30 ME
Gomes 30 ME
Cillesen 30 ME

Total in: 220 ME

Net: 116 ME + x ME for a new backup GK, which can be from la masia or some old guy for peanuts as there are plenty of pretty good GKs around nowadays

Good luck selling Coutinho for 100m.

Good luck selling Coutinho for 100m.

I'd say a desperate Chelsea bid of 100 ME is possible in order to appease the fans with the Hazard money. But I read they got transfer banned. Not sure any other club would be stupid. Manchester United perhaps? They've been very stupid the past couple of years

I highly doubt it. Right now no one has offered anything for him yet, according to MD. I think at best we will be able to sell Gomes, Cillessen, Malcom, Denis, Cucurella, Palencia and for a sum of no more than 120m this summer, which is far below our proposed spending. I don’t know how we can get away with the FFP.

we ended up with +5m last summer without counting Paco's sale. I think we are okay with getting something around 100m.

But even with that our proposed spending still heavily outweighs our potential proceeds or revenue from selling players, almost at a 2:1 ratio. How can we justify that? I genuinely wonder, as I don’t know how FFP works.

I will try my best to explain the situation. FFP was implemented in 2015 and I assume 2015/16 was the first season. The assessment period is three years.
3) Are clubs no longer allowed to have losses?

To be exact, clubs can spend up to €5million more than they earn per assessment period (three years). However, it can exceed this level to a certain limit, if it is entirely covered by a direct contribution/payment from the club owner(s) or a related party. This prevents the build-up of unsustainable debt.

The limits are:
• €45m for assessment periods 2013/14 and 2014/15
• €30m for assessment periods 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18

In order to promote investment in stadiums, training facilities, youth development and women’s football (from 2015), all such costs are excluded from the break-even calculation.
https://www.uefa.com/community/news/newsid=2064391.html

However, the issue is that it is not only about transfers:
Only a club's outgoings in transfers, employee benefits (including wages), amortisation of transfers, finance costs and dividends will be counted over income from gate receipts, TV revenue, advertising, merchandising, disposal of tangible fixed assets, finance, sales of players and prize money. Any money spent on infrastructure, training facilities or youth development will not be included.
Unfortunately, we cannot know the exact numbers because even players' sales are sometimes are not offically known, for example, Vidal's case.

But here is our only transfer situation:

2015/16:
Expenditures: 51,00 Mill. €
Income: 38,30 Mill. €
= -13m

2016/17:
Expenditures: 124,75 Mill. €
Income: 33,80 Mill. €
= -91m

2017/18:
Expenditures: 374,50 Mill. €
Income: 232,50 Mill. €
= -142m

2018/19:
Expenditures: 129,10 Mill. €
Income: 134,05 Mill. €
= +5m

That is easy. Now we have got some questions, how do we measure regular transfers that are paid over a period of time compared to Neymar's cash (paid at once) what about addons? Dembele and Coutinho's can be about 70m?

It will happen, no? What kind of bothers me is how we treated Atletico, we didnt notice them at all. Their president seemed kind of pissed.

Ofc he is comming to us. Atletico know nothing because we simply are waiting to activate his clause once the transferwindow opens. He wouldnt have confirmed his departure if he didnt have anything else agreed and signed.

Well he has the release clause and already told Atletico he's gonna leave so there isn't really much to talk about for the clubs, unless Barca thinks there is a chance to negotiate a deal outside the clause.
