Nah this is bull. Just this morning I read rumors about Saul transferring to Liverpool which is more believable IMO. This rumor was made to entice the deal.

Saul has actually regressed a lot, he's nowhere near as good as before. He wouldn't even have a spot in the team. Pretty useless. Doubt they'd consider it, but I'd take Llorente.

I think Pep can be infatuated with players that he believes are much better than they truly are so I wouldn't be surprised. Look at Rodri for example.

They are probably looking at a B2B MF though and Bernardo Silva want to leave and is linked to Atletico so I can see City potentially doing that.

The Atletico midfielder I would have LOVED is Marcos Llorente, but that is sadly mission impossible.

No leaks from our side lately. Can't really tell if it's them testing the reactions or not. But I doubt Laporta would opt for it, though. Maybe as the last option if nobody else made us a better offer. Sounds like a late august type of a deal.

Same. Do it. Saul - De Jong - Pedri is a nice midfield. We have enough in offense, and we need to get Griezmann's wages off our books. Could be one of the last chance to get something in exchange of him. I can see him running down his contract and leaving to USA or something.
