There have been multiple instances where he was able to play without Messi and he was still underwhelming. Did you not see him in France? This guy's not an actual forward. Spends more time in midfield and defense than he does in the final third trying to score goals.

He's good with open spaces, the Atletico style. Not sure if "park the bus" games are going to happen with Barca now that Messi is gone. Would be interesting to watch.

I think that he will thrive without Messi. Anton is definitely a team player and sacrificed himself to accomodate Leo IMO.

It's not his fault and he can be a decent player, but now that Leo is gone Koeman should go back to a homogenous 4-3-3 and the club should try to get rid of Griezmann. He is not a #9 and he is not a winger. Memphis is much more suited for that role.

No doubt about that. He can't dribble and without Leo the team will be lacking in that department. There will be games when Griezmann will be invisible and will get most of the hate. In the end he is the best paid player at the club now, by a big margin. Pressure on him will be huge.

Pointless to blame the players. These guys don't go home thinking to themselves how can they sacrifice themselves for Messi. They will look out for themselves, their families and do what is best for them long-term, as they should.
