Ohh christ he´s not that bad. He is doing what he´s asked of the best way he can.
He plays with his hands tied because everything in Barcas playing system and tactics is aranged for MSN to have their hands free to do whatever they want.
Did anyone notice how suddenly Neymar is cutting into the middle all the way to the right side of the pitch with 2 defenders on him like he is "surfing" the defensive line instead of simply passing the ball?
You think he would be alowed to do that pointless move (and it is lets face it) 10 times in a game if he does´t have atleast 2 guys covering his back?
When MSN do not capitilize on the freedom they are given the linch mob here is looking for a "patsy" and Arda with a 40 mil € price tag and his "old" age is a perfect one.
It does not matter who´s on the pitch Iniesta, Rakitic, Sergio or Arda the stlye of play and the flow of the ball remains the same because the tactics are always the same to the smallest detail---> to deliver the ball to MSN and cover their back nothing more.
So how can the solution to MSN innecectivnes is to subb a midfeilder when he will be replaced with a midfeilder who will do the exact fuc*ing thing the guy before him did?
But hey it´s not like Lucho can hold MSN accountable and subb Messi or Neymar because they are playing like crap ... remember what happend last year when he subbed Messi?
If MSN were scoring like they used to with ease noone would care if Turan who is playing out of his natural position of an attacking MF gets a yellow, positions himself poorly or whatever... he is reciving the blame of unfairly.
It`s another matter who decided to pay 40 mil for him and play him as a defensive midfeilder...?
It´s like asking Riquelme to be a "Xavi" .

His criticism has nothing to do with his role in the team. He's just horrendous on and off the ball. He makes the wrong decision nearly every time he's on the ball and has absolutely no redeeming qualities. He's worse than Sandro and Munir IMO. His fouling is so fucking frustrating. Every time it's obvious from an opponents counter attack that it will inevitably lead to nothing, he fouls the man on the ball giving them the ball and time to move up the field instead of just letting our defence deal with it. He has no patience.

Do you even watch the games ? Yesterday he played for 45 minutes at Iniesta's position, which is the most attacking midfield position in Barça's system. He just can't create anything, only 3km/h and 5 yards passes, 0 risks and 0 key passes. And this has nothing to do with yesterday's game in particular, I also remember the game vs a 9 men Rayo, Arda just couldn't do anything more.
He can't create, he can't defend properly (meaning not getting booked every 45 minutes), he may be/have been a great player, but he isn't the type of player Barça needs.
That's what Lucho gets for bringing a player from a team that has the opposite football philosophy.

Barely playing 3 months for Barca and people want to see his head roll already. If that were the standard, half of Barca's starting eleven wouldn't even be here.

Don't think a single player in the Starting XI failed to show some progress in their first three months.
If a big offer for him from China actually arrives, and we got the funds to go and get a midfielder that has actually played as a CM in his career, then why not.
