I like it, would look so much better without the Adidas shoulder stripes though. Oh well.
Sabella's list for the Romania friendly doesn't figure Cabs. A confirmation that he won't make the Rio squad. 
It breaks my heart, as he was alongside Yacob & G.Rodríguez, meriting the most of donning the skyblue. Another Arg coach, another case of bias dictating selection, a too familiar hindrance in their quest for glory.
Time for Romero to honour the faith reposed in him, by his coach. If he fails, I doubt he'll ever be in consideration.
May be with a more reasonable manager, the likes of Cabs and Yacob, can atleast make the Copa A, as I don't see the former in the reckoning for 2018.

The issue for Argentina is not bias coah but the FA and their connection wth specific super agents. Sabella is pragmatic and excellent tactician

if you follow news in argentina for last few years you would understand what has been happening regarding player selection to inflate certain players value to inflate certain agents revenue to wash certain hands in FA
I'm aware of the AFA corruption, but It would be naïve to exclude him of all blame. He remains undeterred from the pro-tevez lobby. So I wouldn't say he's completely powerless. Like his predecessors, he's shown to 've favs (estudiantes-fixation ex.), and an ego that more often than not comes in the way of the team's best interest. Caballero's comments from last month where he talked of how the in-form players should play for the NT, must 've been deemed provocative and not gone down too well with the technical staff.

Thats not the issue here and has not been as big a problem as you are making out.
This Argentina squad is picked by Sabella, he is his own man and that means certain players wont be getting in the squad.

I don't agree with Sabella about the exclusion of Willy, but I understand him somehow about his decision. He's not going to unsettle Romero, someone who has been the NT #1 for years, only months prior to the World Cup. Keeping the harmony he thought he made at the NT seems to be more important to him than going for "who's the most in-form player now". World Cup will tell us if he has made the right decision or not.

Its not excuses it is pretty much bang on that Sabella does not want to unsettle Romero.
Willy is clearly the better keeper but Sabella has settled on his GK and back four about two years ago and he wont change it.
Sabella seems to want to create a club atmosphere with players all familiar with each other.
Yeah but that's just like leaving Messi out of the squad and taking Milito instead.
