The new list

GK: Dibu, Rulli, Benitez

RB: Molina, Foyth
CB: Otamendi, Balerdi, Pezzella, Romero
LB: Tagliafico, Medina

DM: Enzo, Paredes, Perrone
CM: RDP, Palacios
CAM: MacA, Nico Paz

RW: Giuliano
CF: Julian, Lautaro, Castro, A. Correa
LW: Nico G., Benjamin Dominguez, Almada

Vs Uruguay

I'm concerned with the amount of yellows the midfield has. I would rest RDP as I'm sure he will get a yellow vs Uruguay

Alvarez --------- Lautaro---------Nico G.
----------MacA----------Palacios
-------------------Enzo
Tagliafico------Ota-------Romero-----Molina
---------------------Dibu

Subs:
- Giuliano for Lautaro (Lautaro is on a yellow)
- Almada for Alvarez
- Nico Paz for MacA (MacA is on a yellow)
- Perrone for Enzo (Enzo is on a yellow)
- Balerdi for Otamendi (Otamendi is on a yellow and if he is suspended, Scaloni will definitely play Pezzella)

Both Santiago Castro (ST, 20) and Benja Dominguez (21, LW) both from Bologna has been called up for the Argentine National team.

Looking forward to see how they do with the team as they are the future.

Seems like Lautaro is a doubt vs Uruguay (not a bad thing as he's on a yellow). If he can't play, I would go with this.

Nico G.-----------Alvarez --------- Giuliano
-------------MacA----------Palacios
---------------------Enzo
Tagliafico------Ota-------Romero-----Molina
---------------------Dibu

Subs:
- A. Correa for Alvarez
- Nico Paz for Giuliano
- Almada for MacA (MacA is on a yellow)
- Perrone for Enzo (Enzo is on a yellow)
- Balerdi for Otamendi (Otamendi is on a yellow and if he is suspended, Scaloni will definitely play Pezzella)

Damn, they look pretty competent without the GOAT. If they can somehow win another WC, that would be an absurd return for this generation.

Their biggest issue is going to be the CBs.

Lisandro Martinez and Romero seem to be injured half the time and Otamendi will be 38 and is capable of doing the craziest thing at the worst possible time/moment.

The depth behind those three seem to be unproven and a bit underwhelming.

Ain't no way they win WC with fackin 38 year old Otamendi.

But then again I didn't think they'd win with 34 y/o Ota either.

CBs are the position that I'm least concerned about
- Senesi has been doing really well at Bournemouth before he went on surgery (he's probably my 3rd CB)
- Balerdi is the captain of Marseille and one of their key players, better than 2022 Pezzella. Linked with AS Roma from what I've seen.
- Medina has been linked to ATM and performing decently at Lens
- There are young talents like Anselmino and Tomas Palacios (Inter Milan)

After Argentina officially qualifies (to which I'm sure it'll be vs Brazil), hoping that Scaloni gives the back up CBs more minutes

LB is the position where I am most uncomfortable with as Tagliafico is the only proven LB right now. We either need to plug in Medina or Lisandro or Nico Gonzalez as LB or hope that Julio Soler matures quickly and performs at Bournemouth well. Similar case with Barco too.
