The folks on TalkSport are calling Gedion Zelalem, Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets all rolled into one player. Bit too much praise don't you think? Or is he really that good?

Zelalem certainly isn't all that (no young player, or for that matter player is that good), but he is very talented, he's got amazing vision and is really mature for his age. Here's a compilation - stop watching at 2:45, it just loops after that:)facepalm:).

We already have Debuchy, Jenkinson, and Bellerin. And Wenger already passed on Manquillo, so I doubt he would spend 12 million on Chambers. Plus, there's another Southampton player that we'd desperately need instead... Schneiderlin.

Chambers will probably be converted into a CB.

Not based on what I've seen, no. People were fapping over a few passes he made in Arsenal's pre-season last year, but since then he's spend his time with the U18's. Couldn't force his way into the U21's, and even then Crowley is first choice in his #10 spot.

He's brilliant. Reminds me of Sergi Samper, if you want to compare young players. He does neat passes, can see several moves ahead and is the type of player that will run a midfield in the future.

His biggest problem right now is his physique. He's skinnier than a pile of toothpicks, and all the vision in the world doesn't mean much when a stray gust of wind can knock you over. He needs time to mature, quietly make all the mistakes a young player does, and get better without a giant microscope over him. He's probably 2 or 3 years away from first team football, but could do with some more experience.

What's going on with Bellerin and Toral, anyhow? Both 19 now, I believe, so I suppose it's about time they get groomed for first team footy?

Toral has been unlucky with persistent injuries, but seems to have gotten over them recently. Bellerin has been much luckier, and went out on loan to Watford last season. They'll probably play in the Carling Cup or FA Cup.

And they both sound very English (especially Bellerin). If you heard them talk, you wouldn't know they came from Barcelona.

Arsenal set to complete £16m signing of Southampton defender Calum Chambers [BBC]

Rumors indicate that either Gnabry or Jenkinson could be included in the deal. They would go on loan to Southampton for the season.

I'd be happy with loaning out Gnabry, he's unlikely to get too much playing time this season with Alexis here and Walcott hopefully getting back to fitness. I'd rather keep Jenkinson here though, and loan out our less experienced right backs.

It's a shame how great teams get raided like that, but whats happening to Saints is on another level. Dortmund managed to keep most gems for now but I feel next season will be the end of Reus, Hummels and Gündogan. Atletico is pretty sold out too but they can use the money for debts. I think they'll be a financial powerhouse soon once they have the new stadium and no debt.
