Man U player was prob. Smalling though going by the second quote maybe Jones? Still good to see a player not going to a domestic rival for once. Khedira looks dead, then again Arsene has denied interest in a player then gone on to sign him soon after in the past.. No Lena Gercke to grace the Emirates. :(

Big Willy from Porto and Nastasic would be a fine end to our transfer dealings.

Carvalho will probably need to have his release clause activated for us to get him, and I don't know if City would willingly sell a good player to us. Still a decent chance of getting both, but this might all happen on deadline day

Great performance from Arsenal. Ramsey goal was awesome, City were owned the first half completely by Arsenal's 3 CM's vs City's 2. Hence can't stand 4-2-3-1, dire formation.

No. They gave him a professional contract at an age where we weren't allowed to. So they didn't have to deal with us at all. But it's ok. He's a Catalan La Masia boy. If he fulfills his potential, he'll be back. You can count on it.

He seems really settled in England and said he considers Arsenal his family now. I don't think he'll leave until he wins a trophy with the club. Plus he isn't even in the first team yet, and is still just a kid, so we're a few years too early to be worrying about that
