And about the creating part, maybe you didn't notice, but the plan was to hold the 1-0 and defend.

Rakitic and Busi were just awful at dealing with United's press. Hell this isn't the first time this has happened either, the same story with those two for the last couple of years. Both just cannot cope with High pressing teams while together on the field.

i kid you not everytime vidal comes on for arthur, team improves, everytime coutinho goes off for any player , the team improves.

He looked visibly upset at some point of the game. He lifted his hands for his teammates I think. I guess to tell them "move a little ". Our midfield and S and M are too passive. Not giving enough passing options forward.

I really dont get the negativity... he wasnt as great as he was vs Madrid/Sevilla etc, but his "worst" form is still rock solid. I dont expect him to carry our midfield yet.

he even started making more forward runs and tried making more forward passes, only to be subbed..

game stats showed he did the least backward passes and sideway passes by far and created more chances.

I thought he was OK, not great. We havn't seen his best post injury.

It would be stupid to use him 90 minutes given he has already had two muscle injuries this year and this is a long/intense season for a player used to Brasileiro.

This is not complicated people, he has been used right of late, if anything when we used him too much he got injured--we want to use him judiciously so we have him in the best place he can be for the elimination matches we have left. Plus we have good subs (Roberto, Vidal) for his position.

This might seem unfair, but he showed such a great potential in the first half of the season that he became a huge hope and factor for Barça's CL chances right away. Now he's underperforming at the worst possible period.

It's also true that we have to remember that he's still a kid who arrived from Brazil 8 months ago.
