It must be an injury. It has to be. There is no other logical reason. And Firpo out too so we can have Sergi Roberto, in the squad again, both Perez and Fati, like both would ever feature together, and all of our other midfielders.
E.V. trying his best to get sacked and get his compensation..

He's not injured first tier reporters report tbat it's a tactical decision by EV.

Probably Valverde misses Rakitic.

Our midfield in matches is worse than the last season.
We are MIA on every single away La Liga and a CL match.

Paulinho-Iniesta-Raki-Busi and Busi-Raki-Vidal looked more consistent than a current hot and cold midfield.

I guess that EV will test some other midfield trios in upcoming matches to see whether we will have more stability than currently.

Frenkie and 2 out of Busi, Raki, Vidal incoming in the next matches.

People on here will have a fit if Rakitic is back to being a starter.

Top 3 worst comments ever for you and that's saying a lot.

Our midfield does go MIA on away matches, but it seems it's part of the way we build up. We push midfielders too high, leave only the CDM to support sometimes, while we play from out fullbacks. Not sure why we don't take advantage of our good on the ball CMs..

What the hell is happening with Arthur? He started playing great and in the last few games he has been terrible. Now he was omitted from the squad 2 times in one week.

I wouldn't say he was terrible though. You could say he was average or not spectacular to be more precise. Terrible is a word to be used carefully.
Like: "Rakitic and Alba were terrible against liverpool" or "Pique was terrible against Levante".

At 23 years of age, people should expect some inconsistency from midfielders. That was the case with Iniesta and Xavi as well, but some tend to forget.
Trusting the younger players who are considered to be our future core is essential. Arthur and FDJ playing consistently together with defined roles and positions is very important the way I see it.
