We must be in a real financial mess that we are doing this. Not that i am a fan of arthur but 30years old pjanic?? We are already the oldest top team around? and now we are giving a fat contract to someone old again.... fc grandpa here we come

We need to get rid of this board as fast as possible and choose a candidate who has a real project in mind, from manager, to transfers, to idea about how to play. We are in football limbo right now.

We are not in limbo, we were in limbo after ney departure. Now we are on the verge to look at madrids ass for half a decade from now on. Getting rid of arthur for pjanic is a transfer that 2 tier club makes with 1 tier club. Getting rid of arthur for 70m means that we should aim for de bruyne or kante not for fucking pjanic. Days became years, this are the sad years to be a barca fan

Barca can reduce the age of the squad next season quite easily from options below.

Pedri, Tricao, Puig, Fati more prominent, Araujo, Pena, Emerson (porentially) all there and if Pjanic replaces Rakitc it is reduced further.

Dembele coming back in if he stays.

Miranda, O Busquets, Monchu, Collado can all be loaned out and Todibo sold.

We are in football Hell right now.

*fixed.

Just watched Liverpool win the title, Pep looking depressed AF and we sold Arthur for another geriatric patient in MF, all in one day.

Going to be even more fun when we get to watch Real comeback against City, us crash out against Napoli at the Camp Nou just so my Liverpool fans to tell me Thiago came there just to be at a club that can “win.” If this isn’t hell, idk what is at this point.

I honestly think once elections occur and we (hopefully) get a new president, then a proper rebuild can occur. We will need to get rid of at least 7-8 players from the squad. We could possibly be looking at a few seasons being just a top 4 side which is fine by me. Build a new team around Ter Stegen, FDJ, Fati, and Puig. Messi can stay if he can accept a very light role like Xavi in 13-15. Everyone else is on the transfer block. The sooner we accept the inevitable, the better. Rather see a fresh start than for this club to be on life support.

These are the players i would gladly keep for next gen in addition to the ones I mentioned: Lenglet (still just 25), Araujo, Collado, Semedo, Firpo (backup), Sergi Roberto (backup). Everyone else is either too old or won too many trophies and has no motivation.

Puig played 20 good minutes at home against Bilbao's tired B team and suddenly we should build a team around him.

Some things will never change (overhyping, daydreaming, desperation for better days).

Yeah, Arthur came off the bench against Osasuna in MD3 and gave an even better impact performance. 10 months later he is sold. Step by Step lads.

The point remains the same: These seniors will not win us anymore CL's and perhaps not even La Ligas.

I hope we do start a rebuild but i doubt any board coming in will have the balls to get rid of the seniors and tell Messi to play a lesser role (which in turn would require him to take a massive wage reduction). this situation with club de amigos is gonna end very ugly, i think we'll see a Madrid style bust-up at some stage in the near future.

Bartomeu must have completly driven this club into the ground.
Scramblig to get scrap money wherever he can, even if it means selling young players for a 10m profit while bringing in old players with big wagebills..

Real has nothing against Man City. Heck they even can not have more point than us.
