Our fans hated Rakitic, called him the worst midfielder in the world and majority wanted a magical Arthur-Frenkie Tiki-Taka/press resistance duo who will rule the world for the next 10 years.

Fast forward a few years later, and in the end, Rakitic will have miles better overall career than these two.

A year earlier, we wanted Jean Michel Seri, but we stopped the deal in the final hours on the deadline day.
He then moved to Fulham and struggled and later moved to Turkey.

I don't think that there is any other top club in Europe who would even give a chance to these crop of players as midfielders: Denis, Seri, Arthur, Puig.

Rakitic was finished with leaving Bar?a and won nothing. Juventus gave Artur a chance. And Artur's problem is discipline. No one knows Seri at all who he is. Ricky Puchu, not a single Bar?a coach, and there were 3 or 4 of them, did not give a single chance. Arthur is a real Brazilian, although he is white.

Did you forget the excuses for 2 years?
1. he passes back because no one is moving in our team
2. he has bad defensive stats because he presses the opponents and the the other teammates just "statpad" interceptions due to Arthur
3. he is tired because no one else is pressing in the team and he has to the all the work
