Arturo Vidal

His every pass is a first touch pass, 1-2s, a cross or passes near the touchline where he gets teammates into troubles.

People on a forum are talking about a new CF, a new left winger, a new CB.
What about midfielders?
Busi is done.
Raki is done.
Vidal is done and a weird fit.
Roberto is not a midfielders.

What is left?
1. Frenkie
2. and Arthur, who is quite close to become a new Dembele due to injuries or being sidelined for majority of a season.

We will need a lot of new midfielders in 1-2 years.

True. Our midfield is in shambles. Our team is too old in general. We have million holes in the roster we have to replace.

We are the worst among the top teams in Europe in terms of intensity and what do most people want to do?
Sell Vidal, basically the only one running in this team.

On the contrary, Vidal must always be a starter if we want to stand a little chance not to be humiliated again in CL.

Arthur-Vidal-De Jong

must be the starting midfield in top games.

Busquets, if he wants, can play in home games against Almeria and the likes (with all due respect to these teams).

I really dont see that much intensity in his game. Hes as tame as Rakitic. He just tackles more (without too much pace or intensity).

Edit: From our current midfielders Arthur is the best at pressing besides Frenkie (aka intensity). He is pretty shit at classical defending though.

Comparing Vidal and Rakitic intensity. Haha. Vidal is still a warrior.

Am I the only one that is bothered that he was rewarded with a sub appearance and a start the following week despite him storming out of training a day before the Classico because he found out he wasn't going to start?

I like Vidal and what he offers but he shouldn't be rewarded for that crap he pulled assuming it was true what he did.

Beta Valverde strikes again. Rakitic complains to the media, regains his starting spot for a few games.

Double standards by EV if we believe that Arthur was penalised for bad off field behaviour but Vidal gets rewarded for it. Either Arthur wasn't penalised for bad behaviour but for tactical reasons and all claims about him are bs, or EV is a little cunt that bends over for seniors and takes out his anger on younger guys. Pick your poison because there doesn't seem to be a third option.

That alone should be a reason for Valverde to get sacked.

There's a difference between being a guy who can calm egos to being a pushover. Valverde is like that parent who buckles faster than a folding chair and buys the kid a toy because the kid is crying, that's how he solves problems. He just caves in and rewards people who shouldn't be rewarded as they are acting like spoiled brats.

Why do you believe everything you read. Use some critical thinking skills and don't take everything for granted, especially from shitrags like SPORT.

He will be 33 in May. Just sell and never look back!

I agree...though one very tragic highlight of this episode is that it shows the extent of the financial mess we're in. I was pining for some "fantasy" transfers of potential future superstars (I.e. Mbappé and etc) to take the mantle off of Messi for the future. I guess we are unable to buy anyone meaningful, in the long run, and guarantee future success
