What positions do you think need reinforced?

I agree CB and it is being worked on. What else do you want?

Depends on who else we transfer out. CB is one obviously (might even need 2), GK has to be another soon enough, and if Thiago leaves we need some type of young talented midfielder, not necessarily of the same mold, who can become a starter within a few years. Even in attack our RW spot will not be world class and we'll be left waiting for when (if) Deulofeu comes back to us as a success.

Ok no other teams wanted him.

Not even Pep who admitted he went after him but Barcelona had won him over by then.

Teams clearly did not bother to bid when told he was not interested.
I didnt say that,by now only them seemed really wanting him.Maybe others teams would wait a little bit but it would be a bad choice as he was great in the confederations cup and would be harder to get him

we have bought the superstar of the greatest NT in history and the most marketable player in the world for 57m, one year before Brazil hosts the world cup where neymar will be the face of the tournament. if argentina and brazil meets, neymar vs messi, the earth will stop spinning. and we own them both. money is rolling into the barca account from that signing. not to speak of the fact that such a player is exactly what we needed to reduce our messi dependence.

the u21 euro had the quality of regular segunda games. by illarramendi's age, busi was busy dominating the world cup and CL finals.

Neymar is a dynamic player. He gave the world a little taste on what to expect in the Confederations Cup.

Him on the LW and Messi as a False 9 is going to be hard to defend.

I can already imagine Iniesta and Neymar linking up.

Cesc feeding some of those beautiful through-balls to Neymar.

All we need is a CB and maybe a veteran ST who wouldn't mind coming off the bench.

You too are lecturing about the talent of Neymar and are downgrading Illaramendi with little reason to do so yet fail to see effectiveness of transfers rather than the single ability of one. 3 talented youngsters, spread over their lineup and strengthening them for the present and the future is overall more efficient and useful than one single attack-only player who won't solve our other problems.

Jam,
You need a lot. And so far you are losing more than gaining. You need one or two CBs, Alba is useless in defence, Adriano is medicore at most, Alves is on decline and won't provide you with anything he used to ensure, your keeper is a liability as well as your Pedro and Alexis. If to you addressing the needs like replacing a crucial piece in midfield like Alonso, improving on Di Maria with Isco as well as signing a long term replacement for Arbeloa is a worse transfer window than signing Neymar then your priorities are seriously fucked up.

If Thiago goes Sergi Roberto is enough and the team is more than covered in that area, even the likes of Messi could drop back in there.

Two new center backs would give Barca six at the back - who would you rid of?

You sound as if the window is not a success unless there is a world class player in every position.

Signing Neymar was huge. Madrid have signed three players that would not get in the Barca line up.

Oliver Torres now or next year. He could turn out to be an upgrade over Thiago over time.

Sanchez and Pedro can hold down the RW. I see glimpses of Sanchez's talents and defenses can not focus on him w/ Messi and Neymar attacking them. Our attack is going to be lethal next season.

We just need a World-Class CB and we're ready to get our crown back as Europe's best. It would be beautiful to see Tito defeat Pep and his big mouth.

What a load of biased crap that is.

Its easier to improve a poorer team you know.

thats ridiculous. alba is better than marcelo in defense. montoya is better than carvajal. Pedro and Alexis do the work they are required to do of their roles. besides, we can play with neymar and messi up front and cesc in the hole behind the 3 man midfield, an improved tactic of the home game against milan. a devastating attack.

we need CBs and this is being worked on. thats all.
