This new TV contract is absolutely good news for Atletico and also competitivness of La Liga as a whole.

But it remains to be seen what some smaller clubs will do with new money. I'm not worried about clubs like Atletico, Villarreal or Sevilla. They have mostly showed they know what they are doing in the market and now they will be probably more able to keep the core of their teams together longterm instead of selling their best player ever summer as it was case until now. But there are midtable clubs that made bad decisions over the past years and if they continue to do so new money won't help them as much as it could. If anything, their financial situation could become even worse if they don't spend new money smart.
