It would be dope for Spain, if CL was won by Real, Barca and Atletico in 3 consecutive years. Would pretty much send a big middle finger to the rest of the European leagues.

Anybody hoping they win CL?

My prefered option to win it's still Man City, just so they can f... up Pep like Heynckes did 3 years ago. But realistically I give them the least chances to win.

Atleti are 2nd, then Bayern and I'd rather see the end of the world than Madrid winning Undecima.

Gonna be real interesting to see what they do with their forwards come summer; How they use Martinez money, if Torres will leave, Baston's squad role, Correa and Vietto's playing time etc.

I think they will only have to replace Torres. Correa is really a good sub. Every time Correa comes in, he almost always scores. Vietto is also good but not as good as Correa this season. Jackson Martinez being shit really helped the 2 young Argentines. Their midfield is stacked and they might use the money to buy backup fullbacks for Juanfran and Felipe Luis.

I don't think they've benefited that much, they were always gonna get the game time they have, and Vietto's been a bit of a let down. They won't cash in on him (and they shouldn't) yet though I wouldn't be all that surprised if they did. The only thing I know for sure is that they'll bring back Bastón. They mightn't spend big on a striker at all.

Not so sure they'll look for backups at right back either. They still have Gamez who is a good pro, and Manquilo has played 30 Ligue 1 games this season.

Think they might look for more out wide in attacking formations. They tried for Kampl in January iirc and I wouldn't be surprised if they continued in that line of thinking.

To be completely honest, I doubt the Frenchman will repeat the same performance of last season but they need consistency and proven players. Selling him and then integrating a new player is not an easy task. This is Atletico's prime, they need compounding talent that is reliable. To Griezmann's defense, he wasn't poor for Real Sociedad and just exploded at Atletico, he was good for La Real and became better at Atletico.

In a way I am glad they kept him. Didn't think he would be this good but damn he is fantastic.

Good? Griezmann was already proven to be one of the best young player in La Liga during his time at Real Sociedad.

Simeone did indeed a very good job to convert him into a striker role and the Frenchman improved his goalscoring production significally.

Can we just hire Atletico's or Sevilla's scouting team?
Man, would never expect they'd replace Curtois so soon and this good.
Griezmann, Gimenez, Augusto...

Anyone know how long Tiago will be out for? I'm guessing he won't play this season but it was October/November when he had the surgery.
