¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
From what I've read, it doesn't look like that Gabi was aware of it being match fixing at the time. If the players stick together, it can very well just be the president who will be punished.

Man, Atletico should have gotten a few nominated to both worlds best defender and midfielder, but they got none. They won the league and made it to cl-final, its a joke none of their players get any glory, but they should.

They may be more intense and physical, but i dont find many teams in pl to be very well organized, loads of space to be found.

Fully agreed, but it seems like a lot of EPL fanboys want to 'claim' a certain style of play as a sole trademark of their league when utilized successfully. If Atletico can win titles and challenge in Europe with an intense/physical brand of football then surely it is synonymous with the great EPL even though there's really only 1 team in the entire league that remotely have that kind of tactical organization (Chelsea, even then I'd say Atleti are superior in this regard).

So to be successful, tactically organized, and intense= to be an EPL team. Get rid of this elitist mentality.

No, that would mean only Atletico define what an EPL team is, which is not what BrianSwan said.

Well, the same can be said of La Liga and passing football.
