Interviewer: "How does it feel to save a penalty shot taken by the best player in the world?"

Oblak: "I dont know, I've never saved a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty shot"
 I can understand that not everyone likes Barca/Messi but is it really that hard to admit Leo is the superior player...? God, please, Ronaldo is just another poacher...

"The atletico's keeper Oblak saved a penalty shot from Messi. In the end of the game a journalist asked him how he felt after saving a penalty from the best player in the world. Oblak answered : I don't know, I never saved a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo"

What an asshat. Hope Leo tears him a new one for this.

Apparently, some people find it incredibly hard to admit  Maybe if Ronaldo slaps and kicks Oblak in frustration in a future match he'll change his opinion :p

Not sure this would change his mind either as we have seen Edimar doing some serious arse licking after.. "I want Ronaldo to remain the best player in the world" what a pussy lol cos of Brazilian Portuguese ties and he will hate Argentina.

Fuk Atletico...it's all I can say. I respect their success when one considers their finance, but being brutal is not the rule of the game. Go play american football or rugby.

While I cheered their wins against Real Madrid, I can admit they do the exact same thing to them. Its not "intensity" like others here try to describe it. Its violent and thuggery what Simeone has them playing.

The difference between Real Madrid and us is that we stay calm and continue to play on as well as dish it back. Neymar showed he wasn't scared of them and played magnificently even after going down a goal.

There was a Madrid derby in 3 weeks ago where Atleti were manhandling RM but RM lost their composure and ended up getting more cards than Atletico. At one point Raul Garcia slapped Sami Khedira to the floor and nothing happened.

I have to applaud our guys for not getting intimidated. We know how to beat Atleti's game. Credit to Lucho as well.

"(Neymar) has a way of playing which is a bit peculiar, above all when his team is winning. He always makes gestures on the pitch. Nobody likes to lose and, with the tension, these things annoy you."-Gabi

"Well, my words were 'Jesus, it was a penalty and a red card; look at the TV, you will see you have made a mistake.' Then I shouted, and he said 'you are sent off'." I did not say anything else. The team was left with a man less, and you saw that in the second half."-Gabi

Well what did you shout Gabi?

Yeah, gestures are annoying but getting fouled hard once per minute is not?

I used to sympathize with these players for their spirit but now I realized they are just thugs that don't know how to lose. Still rooting for them in the Madrid derby though :pep:

Yep, they just moved into the second place on my list of most hated clubs:

  1. RM
  2. Atletico
  3. Chelsea
