Nike deal is already sealed afaik.

We should try and get Microsoft as our shirt sponsors. Or Mac. We're already using Apple coumputers so we might know some people.

Or have Donald Trumps face printed on our shirts for 100 mil/year

This doesn't look good at all. Sounds like Amazon is only a "potential" sponsor, it is far from being set in stone, they could totally say no and take a hike to us and we will be scrambling to find another sponsor next summer after Qatar Airways paying us another 35m for the 16/17 season.

(For the next season we basically begged Qatar Airways "Please, just keep paying us what you have been paying us, for one more year, will you?" because we need to fork up 47m for the settlement to cover something Laporta screwed up. )

If both Amazon and Qatar Airways walk next summer I wonder what we will be doing to fill this huge hole.

Just realized that signing with Qatar for another year for 30 million means Barca haven't gotten that figure when negotiating with any other potential sponsor.
So much for 60 million and Amazon.

It sounds like a shitdeal, they called our bluff - no improvement although we won a treble, so much for having good businessmen with no hearts in the board.

Can't wait to see how much Amazon is willing to pay us..

That's just it. Amazon offer (if it even existed) had to be under 30 million as we had to humiliate ourselves and take the same Qatar offer.

Worse yet, Amazon is reportedly pissed of about the leak and they might completely back off. That means we are going to start the process of finding a new main sponsor again next year, and there is no guarantee that we will find someone who will pay more than what Qatar Airways is paying, let alone meeting our target of 60m.

Looks like we have burned a few bridges already.

I don't see any problem.
Contract with Qatar has ended this June and club planned with no sponsor for 16/17 and we all know that
but plan has been changed due to UEFA demanding us to pay massive fine for something Laporta did long time ago.
So we decided to raise money by having sponsor this year and decided to stick with Qatar rather than search new sponsor who's willing to contract for only 1 year deal.
Plus, Amazon deal was intended for 17/18~ so this has nothing to do with 1-year deal with Qatar
Bottom line is 30m is 30m because nobody gonna hand out tons of money for just 1-year shirt deal

Qatar are not going to pay 65m for a final one year deal. They better close and announce the Amazon deal this Summer too.
