There are clubs who are always on the line.

In Fati and Inigo's case their big salaries make it impossible for permanent move. Options are either loan them out with shared salary percentage scheme or keep them, but unlisted from La Liga to not burden the salary cap, meanwhile ruining their seasons.

Who will want to loan Fati after what happened last season ?
Inigo ? the 32/yo less than average player ? what club will say : ok ill pay half the salary .. more like 25% at max

Not only we can't get any money from them but they will f*** our salary cap for the next years with no utility

On Fati - likely another loan to a newly promoted EPL team. Or relegated EPL team playing in Championship next season. It will get worse to offload him in the future, with Barca shared percentage of his killer contract rising each year. That's reality.

Inigo's case is harder to solve given his advanced age. It's likely there to be a mutual termination which would be 4.5-6m. Inigo risks being paid well, but forego the rest of his career not training all year.

I'm thinking that for the way Flick will want to setup, that Balde-Faye-Araujo-Kounde can be our best defense and probably why the SD were creaking on at Xavi to give him more minutes this season end.

No more waffles in defence please like Eric returning who will play in complete fear of the space behind him.

Would be a huge step up for Faye, but I get the logic, he would need to be introduced slowly, flick started with Alaba at CB so he does like a CB with good passing range.

If Faye can improve his passing maybe in 6-12 months he could be a starter.

The Catalan press will go crazy if/when cubarsi gets dropped though.

Pedri

Fermin
Roberto

All these being CMs, CAMs, interiors
... and yet we are also going for Simmons on loan apparently

How many similar profiles on similar positions are we going to cram, while leaving DM/CF priorities uncovered?

Count the last 2 out of any conversation about able midfielders...its time for serious business....not the eyesorec that "Whinger" was all about

Fermin is a serious md, and will be important for Flick
unique profile of goalscoring md bursting inside the box from deep lines

After Brighton Post which i think is a goodbye video we will be forced to try and play Ansu Fati Somehow.

inb4 Laporta makes it sound like it was a decision to get Ansu back to the squad

Already here

Hansi Flick is determined to give Ansu Fati a chance during pre-season. @sport
What are we supposed to do? Is there anybody interested in loaning him? Because we sure as hell won't get any offers even above 10M. Better if we try selling Torres, buy an LW and keep Ansu - because Ansu can't be worse than Baby Shark and Baby Shark might bring in some more cash... again, so much lol that we bought him for what, 55M? That is so braindead, as retarded as the Rawke transfer. We have a black belt in stupid transfers  Look at RM... Bellingham, Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo, Tchouameni and even Guler escaped lol. We get Romeu, Baby Shark, Rawke - this shit is tragic

why dude we need to try, can still sell him if he doesnt perform

Have no problem for giving him his last+++++ chance.
But their is a difference between a player you choose to stay and one being forced on you just because nobody wants him.
This morning heard that Sevilla & Valencia are interested so finger crossed.
