Barca Transfers and Rumors

Knowing PSG, they can just buy Neymar and keep Verratti.

It's why I never really gave any thought of the idea of selling them Ney if we get Verratti and some cash in return.

Thiago and Bellerin should be our only two signings. They are excellent footballers who have been schooled in the Barcelona way. Both will be expensive but they could play for the club for a decade so the cost will be spread out more after those two signings I think we're good to go.

Lol!!!

Thiago is made of glass and Bellerin is mediocre.

Pass with gas and move on!

München won't sell Thiago, forget about him.or PSG won't sell Verratti. Chasing them is just waste of time for us. in addition, l'm nt sure if Keita is right man for us. When l watched their game, Keita didn't impress me as much as Forsberg did. Another point is Forsberg suits us more than him if you ask me. After all, we should ask ourselves what kind of player we need. A Xavi replacement or İniesta replacement? or Both? The first should be Kimmich. The latter should be Forsberg or Coutinho. l think we have a chance for Kimmich, just because he wants to play at midfield, his idol is Xavi. if Kimmich not possible, l'd go for Tielemans or Dahoud.

Bellerin
Kimmich/Dahoud/Tielemans
Forsberg/Coutinho.

would be my picks for the next summer transfer window. Moreover, if we add Dembele to them with the player's sale's money such as Arda, it would be dreamy.

We made greatest mistake in Kroos, we let Real to sign him, as we didn't ask for him when he was available for transfer after München wanted to offload him because of his 13 m euros wage demand, highest number in their Team. l understand them though it's crazy to let him go and sign a finished Real player in Xabi, giving 13 m to him would kill their wage balance. Xavi was about to leave and we didn't move for Kroos.

Bring Samper back!

If patience is shown he will develop into a fine midfielder.

The manager is the most important factor here IMO.

Sampaoli or nobody. I don't want Unzue, Valverde, Cocu etc

We need a world class midfielder who can control play and a right back. Añy other purchases should not be of the expensive kind.

A year ago Oriol Domènech when he was still at MD wrote a article on how Robert has been following Ajax's young Donny van de Beek as a possible future target for the main team. I wonder if he's still on his list?

Tielemans, Forsberg,...? Are we discussing Espanyol's transfer targets or?

Not that I would disagree with what you said, but we have limited options for this positions. Tielemans is a nice talent while Forsberg is doing pretty well at Leipzig.Who would you want us to sign? Verratti? Thiago? All impossible dreams. Or RB? again lack of options.

How is Wilshere doing this season on loan? I really liked him few seasons ago in his first seasons in Arsenal, when he wasnt so injury prone. He was really shining in those CL matches against us. Was and still is some combination of Xavi and Iniesta in style of play... Just all those injuries. Is he any more stable now?

Mahmoud Dahoud, Bellerin(it's inevitable, what can ya do :pep:), Bernardo Silva and Davinson Sanchez/Lemos

CM, RB, AM/RW, CB

Is it allowed to dream? We've lost so many midfielders to other clubs already because of our insistence to spend on actual quality players or good fits, so can we for once get Bernardo Silva and not ruin another chance? Can play both as an AM and RW and is absolute quality. I fear Real Madrid or some other team will sign him with us ruing this chance as we did with Modric and several others.

I remember when we signed Gomes that Mendes actually offered/recommended us Bernardo Silva too, and we've kept scouting him after that, but it's time to stop scouting and do something. We signed the wrong Mendes client

if we are the biggest club of the world we must make sensational transfer but i am looking here
we are talking these names(tielemans dahoud forsberg) i don't say these players are bad players. these players are good players but not first choice.... for example andre gomez, denise suarez also arda they are good players as well but if we are Barcelona we have to buy the best player in their position.
we have to talk about mesut and coutinho
once upon a time we have had the best ones for example dani alves, puyol, abidal, xavi, these are the top3 players of the world in their positions
now roberto instead of alves, umtiti instead of puyol, gomez, rakitic, denis instead of xavi,

anyway
; RB, CB, AMC(because of the injury and age of iniesta), MC,
so we need at least 5 great player
coutinho, ozil, maybe for CB is alderweireld, maybe sidibe(he is not the best RB of the world but he has the potantial for it) for RB

my team is

---------------ter steagen---------------------
sidibe-----pique-------alderweireld-----alba-
----------------bousquet-----------------------
--------özil(rakitic)----coutinho(iniesta)------
----messi--------------------------neymar----
-----------------suarez------------------------

I can already foresee another disastrous transfer window. If we decide to go for Bellerin, it means that we will most likely buy a second string midfielder. In my opinion, it's more important to bring in a world class midfielder than it is to bring in a world class RB.

Bellerin is not even world class to begin with, so to bring him in means we will not achieve either goal. :slap:

Ozil and Coutinho? That's a terrible midfield. Ozil, the laziest player ever, no thanks.

Here's the deal with the wizard of oz. No salary, only bonuses on assists, interceptions, chances created and key passes. That'll get him in the groove :troll:

What's the issue with Coutinho? Thought everyone here liked him...

edit: Agreeing with Mixa on prioritising the midfield

I don't think Coutinho is that good, to me it's more hype than substance. He's not what we need. And pairing him with Ozil would leave us with a very weak mid, teams would cut through as like butter.
