Do you really think it is possible to have:

Messi, Suarez, Griezmann, Coutinho, Dembele, Thiago (or even Eriksen/Pjanic) all in the same team? And I'm not even mentioning Ivan and Busquets. Is it possible to have them all happy with playing time and taking an important role in crucial matches (Real, Atletico, Sevilla, Valencia in La liga and CL matches)?

As long as we win, yes. Suarez should be leaving after next season, the latest. It would be a transition year for Suarez's leaving. Small sacrifices, but it would be a good long-term plan. I'm sure players would understand that.

The thing is, you don't get Griezmann level player today for 100 mil€. He is a bargain. Thiago for another 50-70 mil€ would be pretty damn good business. I think we could gather the money from sales. Rafinha, Gomes and couple others would have to leave. Maybe Cillessen(which would suck, but for good price? Do it..)

The more I think about it the more I have my doubts about us signing an additional midfielder other than Arthur. Coutinho will play in the midfield next season. Our signings this year will be Griezmann, Arthur and if the rumors hold true Lenglet. If Jasper is sold we’ll buy a backup keeper.

A bit concerned that we haven't managed any transfers before the WC. Wouldn't be that big of an issue if our squad just needed incremental changes. Considering we want to get rid of at least 4-5 players and get a couple of starts and a couple of squad players, you'd have thought we'd have gotten the ball rolling a lot earlier. The WC is going to murder us, with prices shooting up for anybody who has a semi decent tournament; and none of the scrubs we want to sell are expected to play (if they are even in the squad) so we can't really ride the upside either.

Greizman is going to happen at 100 mil or it's not going to happen. So I'm not focusing so much on that as the midfielder, CB, RB/LB backup (depending on what we do with Digne and bob next season).

Option 2. We can't rely only on Messi to score. Also some of you don't get it, Messi doesn't like to be the only striker of the team, he wants to have someone in front of him. If that wasn't the case, Higuain would not play for Argentina. So option 2 is currently the best possible formation for the current players we have.

But Wolfsburg has been wank for the past couple of seasons though. Some calling them a newish Hamburg.
