His age makes it a stopgap measure but he's a leader & competitor, I'd take him over Vidal any day of the week
Surely you should want a B team player called up not some 34 year old?
What sign is that to La Masia?

Love to, love to have gotten Grimaldo at LB instead of paying for Digne but hey this board made sure that La Masia wasn't producing La Masia talent for the first team
Huh? 30m for a RB? When we have Roberto? Did I miss something?
A rumour about 34 y.o. Srna becoming a free agent at the end of the season and a potential Barcelona target in the winter window, presumably if Vidal fails to make an impact. Would be a great temporary signing on a free, even at his age.

According to TM he missed 3 games in last 6 seasons because of injury, so he's very durable.
Srna at that age
If he pulls a Zannetti i would take him
How injury prone is he?

i've always liked him as a player, but i'm afraid that ship has sailed. just too old and we didn't even try for him this summer. anyway, we can break the bank for any right-back next summer since we should be well covered on the other positions(maybe buy another CB?).
breaking the bank for an inferior RB to Roberto is meaningless. Srna could be an interesting stop-gap solution.
when i've said "break the bank for any right-back" i was thinking of expensive right-backs at worldclass level or already established players at elite/big clubs.
what is robertos level at RB, does anybody know yet? let's wait and see. i he comes good, maybe it will suffice to buy a young promising right-back or a versatile player a la adriano. if not, we can splash the cash on whoever we want.
