I think the funniest part is one Catalan media station (Forgot who) talked about how a Pjanic and Arthur swap made little sense from a financial standpoint.

The club wants to lower the wage bill but apparently Arthur is on low wages while Pjanic himself is on higher wages. So trading Arthur for Pjanic would make the wage bill even worse as he's on much higher wages than Arthur is.

The clown show won't finish until Barto and all his rats are out.

 not that we didnt know already, but after this transfer window we will see how many rumours from them turn out to be bullshit. Probably 90% because of the ridiculous amount of rumours.

Would you take him back as a cheap replacement for Firpo, to save money for Lautaro deal?

Getafe are very likely to activate his 6 million euros purchase option, if so, Barca would have to pay his new release clause...

Why are we never interested in Kimmich. He could solve so much for like another 10 years.
I know that getting someone like that from Bayern will be hard and maybe even impossible but that has never stopped our board from harassing players and clubs for multiple transfer windows in a row.

Javi Miguel claims he's seen a document from January that endorses the signing of Pjanic

The main parts from the article that Barca centre posted.

Barcelona are handling an internal report which gives the 'OK' to the signing of Pjanić, despite his age of 30. A part of the report says the following: 'Older players contribute more in positions where more knowledge of the game is required'.

'An experienced player may need less time to adapt to his new club and give his best level from the very first moment', states the same report. For positions that rely more on physical performances, younger players are preferred according to the Club's report. [as]

I feel like if you need Veterans you should target guys from the 26-28 year range like we did with Rakitic when he came in 2014. Experience is great but in the CL in that last few years have shown that if the player doesn't have the body to match up with their experience it's pretty much a wash at that point.

I'm not sure how Pjanic of all players would fare any better in a setup that has to have him cover for two out of the three players in the Front line that don't run or move enough. He would basically be another Busi, a guy who is good on the ball but has the same issues with declining mobility and physicality.

You're basically swapping Rakitic someone who's better the ball while also showing the same problems he has as well and Pjanic was never a workhorse either.

The board are only looking at success for a one season sprint. They probably see no point in buying players for any term past the elections.

Basically, we're screwed. Their Pjanic'ing and I'm panicking. Much rather we just joined the Partey.

Saka from Arsenal still hasn't renewed his contract. He is already very good and just 18. Not the quality of Davies but remind me of him profile wise + the fact that they both started as wingers.

Club could look into it, I have had enough of Alba.

Bingo. Hit the nail in the head. He would be another Raki and Busi we are trying to get rid of. Terrible idea.

Dream scenario:
Coutinho <--> Kante straight swap

Rest of the deals seem too bad for us, but we are desperate and will end up accepting anything.

I'm sure Arsenal will renew Saka before other clubs will have a chance to negotiate witih him.

And well, Alba is not going anywhere for the next 4 years so no young LB will come here warming the bench behind him. We probably won't start looking for Alba's potential replacement before 2022 or 2023 because we have other needs we should adress before and we won't have a lot of money next summer or in 2022 if we'll spend 100m on another forward this year instead of (trying) to adress some of those other needs first.

Not the Pjanic rumors again.

Didn't see you around here a lot lately. How are you doing?

Chelsea would never accept that swap. Also, while I think we clearly need a midfield destroyer like Kante we should be looking for a younger version of him.

Sevilla is apparently interested in Wague as a longterm replacement for Jesus Navas.

Also, MD says we want this kid for Juvenil A team.
