Depends. I don't mean a squad player that plays when others are injured or suspended, but someone to be getting regular game time. He's a solid player who is hardworking and is quite polished. Pretty young too, and would not be expensive (I presume).

My problem with someone like Depay is that he's neither a #9 or a winger. Just another player like Griezmann who attacks the same spaces. If Messi actually stays what the fuck are you going to do with three players who want to play the same position and occupy the same spaces?

We need more pace up front too. More dynamism from the wings. I wouldn't mind it for a cheap deal, but I suspect it may come at the cost of other transfers.

Dont think they are that similar.

Depay more physical and threat in box can run in behind much better than likes of Messi and to lesser extent Griezmann as well.

They are similar , especially for the Dutch National team where he has his best numbers. He likes to give that final pass and plays around the box. Im certain he will never work with Messi , as @DonAK said it will be another Griezmann saga.

Don't get me wrong I like Depay , but I would only get him if Messi plans to leave.

More physical yes, but not the type to run in behind which is what we need more than anything else. At least from what I've seen he's never played like that.

Memphis does not really have a high work rate, nor does he contribute much defensively.

Might as well bring Coutinho back if you want an attacker of that profile.

He does run in behind and has pace to do it.

Dont see him like Messi at all.

More similar to Griezmann but different threat in box.

For cheap would not mind it but not if is seen as the answer to starting role as a risk.

Well, the report about Memphis suggest Koeman see him as Suarez' replacement so.. yeah :bartomeu:

Depay offers run in behind but it is not his game. Better at it than Lautaro though.

The ideal runner in behind this market was Werner who went for just 60m. Baffles me mind we didn?t went for him but guess we busy negotiating the 111m Lautaro transfer.

Reports also say Barca want Lautaro.

Massing guessing game.

Yeah. I think Lautaro link is true as a Barca board member said himself and Barto has been talking about him for a while. The Donny link could be true. The rest are hit or miss.

Board the Haaland train. Should go all in for him next season if he maintains the level he showed.

Lautaro runs the channels as well. Lautaro would fit us well. I think this transfer makes a lot of sense to replace Suarez as long as the money are reasonable. Young, about to hit his prime, hard working, scorer, can play very well off the ball.

Haaland will score a lot of goals. Dortmund create way too many chances for him to not do that. But what happens when he leaves BVB is another story.

If Solskj?r is still in Manchester in 2021 I think he goes there.

Haaland will never come for us. It's just not a transfer we make. He knows that and he has better options, like literally almost all big teams before us.
