i agree with you. I wouldn't sell Busquets. He's stil a good player and is controlling the midfield well. Still a master of recovering balls.
With our short term lack of finances we should scouring the market for players with contracts ending in 2022.
We may even be able to strike a deal where we pay a season later, and can throw in some loans to sweeten some deals.

Liverpool will never sell Dijk and he had massive injury. I would like to see how he rebounds first.
We've been linked with Kamara too.
Zakaria is fairly high rated. Milenkovic as well.
What about horse lord Goretzka? Man could probably dumbbell chest press with Riqui and Pedri in each hand.

On a more serious note, Khephren Thuram (Lilian's son) and Lassina Traore are worth mentioning as well.
Moukoko's contract is also expiring but I don't doubt Dortmund will renew him.
Boulaye Dia is another interesting name but he could be a one-season wonder and I doubt he's good enough for a top team.
And from "older" players Belotti could be worth a risk if we can't get Haaland. Still think Torino's president will probably hold out for some unrealistic transfer fee despite his contract expiring so don't see it very likely.
Romagnoli's contract is also up and we've been linked to him in the past.
Also, I've just realized Lucas Alario is 28 already. I've thought he was something like 24-25 at most.

Furthermore our current midfield is quite new:
De Jong is young, strong, able to run, pass, score and just in his second seasons with us (already now one of the best European midfielders).
Pedri is a great talent, just 18 years old.
I think he will have a great future.
We only need to improve back-up.
Real plays with the same three midfielders since six/seven years.
Changing isn't always a good solution as many users think.
We've seen it with Coutinho...a lot of users said "Barca has to buy him" just three years ago!

99% a BS rumour coming from El Chiringuito.
That said, we've been interested in him for years and also had a first option on him when he was 17/18 but he has signed for Roma in 2016 where he flopped and returned to Brazil three years later. He's apparently doing good for Flamengo in recent years but still don't think he's good enough for us. Would be too risky signing for 25m in our current situation and with more urgent needs in other positions.
