Barca dont need experience have that in abundance already.
Gundogan is good but to give him 12m a season is too much if those figures are true.

Barca could have a squad where a third of them are 30+ next season and the spine of team could be 35+.

Not bad at all, like I've said 10x times would like for us to move on from busquets, but that's not gonna happen, so just have to live with it.

If we are paying gundogan, lewa and Messi all around the 13m net mark, that's a good salary, they wouldn't be making less in the overwhelming majority of teams they could play for.

Gundogan is not 13m net that would be absolutely horrific salary. He is rumoured to be getting 12m net which is too much for a player of his age most likely.

Lewa on 13 net would be atrocious also. He is said to be on 16-18m gross.

Messi is different as commercial income he can bring but still not comfortable with club giving him too much in bonuses and % revenue.

In the summer, I think we'll sign 4 player.

1 FB
1 striker.

Both of whom will be of the right age profile.

And then 2 more experience players in their 30's, hopefully gundogan plus 1.

If that happens, that's a great window and perfectly acceptable.

If we throw Yannick in there as well, who will just be turning 30 after the season starts, that's also a win.

Defensive midfield should be a top priority IMO.

A Kessie-Brozovic swap can solve ton of our issues IMO. If Busquets leave then a Busquets & Kessie for Gundogan & Brozovic is a wash in terms of average age, but increase the quality of midfield at both starting XI and bench.

What is your thoughts on Verbruggen, Debast & Vermeeren? They are all hyped in their positions afaik.
Hope we aren't bothering you with questions, but it is rare to find someone who has good insight in Belgium league.

It’s fine. Those are actually 3 names I wanted to drop in the other player section at one point.
I might’ve picked El Khannouss instead of Vermeeren though since the former is an even bigger talent and has also already proven much more.

I’m not that good at rating keepers but imo Verbruggen is the real deal. He is the most talented keeper I’ve seen in the league since Courtois, Vandervoordt doesn’t come close.
I expect him to be a starter for Holland soon and playing for a top 10 club in 2-3 years max.
With how good he is with the ball he would actually be a good Barca keeper.

Debast reminds me of a young Kompany (same club, position and age +- atm) but even better with the ball but weaker defensively. He is benefiting a lot from playing next to Jan Vertonghen (ex Spurs and player with most caps for Belgium).
For his height he is very agile and has descent pace but needs more muscles and improve his defensive game. If he can do that I have no doubt that he will also play for a top team sooner than later. Also a Barca player if we are just talking about his style.

Vermeeren is bit overhyped. He is good and he has a beautiful style but he isn’t in the same talent category of someone like Lavia.
But he is also the youngest of the 3 so maybe he will still develop into a player for a top team but I don’t see that happening tbh.

Now watch Vermeeren play for Manchester City in a couple years and the 2 others for Dijon.
