Zubimendi is fine for la liga but catastrophic for CL. Honestly I don't see what this guy brings to the table. He's a soft player with a bit of technical skill but has nothing else. Would take Neves , Amrabat or Briz over him anyday.

He played well at Old Trafford.

Also don't think he's "soft".

The only problem I have with him is his price. Would take him for 30m without thinking twice but 60m is too much in our current state. Still better than spending that kind of money on Ferran or Raphinha though.

Neves is not fit to tie Zubimendi's shoelaces as a CDM.

I understand having some doubts about Zubimendi and I'm not his biggest fan myself, but Neves is not a better CDM than him. Not even close.

As for Amarabat then my concern with him would be whether he could fit into a bigger club as his career apart from the World Cup seem to have been pretty average.

Wouldn't mind Brozovic as a short-term stopgap though.
