Ruben Neves is going to Ronaldo's Saudi club. They're paying 55m euros for him. Gundogan deal becoming more unlikely by every day that passes as he's reportedly not convinced we'll be able to register him without issues.

Linked to Rabiot now

He is not inconsistent. He plays well almost every single game. He's not a prolific scorer, but he's penetrating and dangerous from the wing every game. He creates so much and is a primary reason behind Brighton'a success this season.

Even check out his player ratings, they were high almost every game, not just when he scored. He's exactly the type of player we need on the left wing and there aren't many like him. Kvara, Leao etc Instead of 45mil on Roque I would gladly spend 70mil on him. If Mitoma was Brazilian and not Japanese he'd be chased by every top team on the planet right now.

Think he would be fantastic for how Xavi interprets how a winger should play.

Don't think his issue is nationality but price. He will cost way over our budget (unless he has a cheeky clause like Mac Allister did).

But Brighton players are very very expensive otherwise these days. Look at what Moises will go for.

These Saudis are insane man.

I can see many footballers moving there over the next few years. Not only the ones entering retirement stages.

Crazy money, less pressure, easier schedules, no taxes...Basically a haven for footballers that just want to get paid and live easy.

They will be happy with Kessie. Really wondering who will really replace Messi now, since he wont return. Need someone with his dribbling skills. Who is close to that? Bernardo Silva? He wants to go back to Benfica at 32 years old so. Raphinha is not good enough.
Bernardo Silva is 28

I don't trust Xavi to get the best out of anyone offensively because his whole offensive system right now is to rely on individual talent to create, and if that cross and inshallah from wide.

So yeah, I can see Vitor stuck mostly on the touchline on the left, looking like shit and everybody wondering why we wasted 40m on the Brazilian Ferran.
We need to get Arteta here .. maybe the season after next ?

Xavi wants Zubi, but he isn't trying to leave, so anyone we get will be a plan B.

I just hope it works out, if we get Amrabat, de jong will have to do more than he a energizer bunny in midfield, since Busquets was the one that did all of the coordinating.

Let's hope he can step up.

Amrabat will be the one coordinating mate, it is his biggest strength actually.
He is more of Barca DNA type of CDM than people realise. His biggest weakness is defense and biggest strength is connecting defense and midfield. He won't come to be a spolier type of CDM.

That said, Bayern, Manchester United, Atletico are all after him. His NT coach gave him permission to leave the team yesterday to complete his transfer, and I doubt it is us.

I agree though about us getting a plan B anyway.
