Amrabat will be the one coordinating mate, it is his biggest strength actually.
He is more of Barca DNA type of CDM than people realise. His biggest weakness is defense and biggest strength is connecting defense and midfield. He won't come to be a spolier type of CDM.

That said, Bayern, Manchester United, Atletico are all after him. His NT coach gave him permission to leave the team yesterday to complete his transfer, and I doubt it is us.

I agree though about us getting a plan B anyway.
Okay, hope you're right about that, haven't seen him much outside of maybe 2/3 viola games.

Vitor Roque is coming, Inigo Martinez is supposed to be done deal, now all is left is a DM and maybe creative midfielder.. Arambat seems the most realistic option, hope we could get Gundogan too.. RB wouldn't also be a bad idea to sign..

Ruben Neves is going to Ronaldo's Saudi club. They're paying 55m euros for him. Gundogan deal becoming more unlikely by every day that passes as he's reportedly not convinced we'll be able to register him without issues.

Linked to Rabiot now
Barring EPL clubs, all other clubs in Europe are broke now. I think that's the reason he's going to Saudi. He didn't get any other decent offers and thought might as well go for the money.

I'm stunned other clubs like Arsenal, Newcastle,Spurs etc didn't go for him. Very good player and proven in the EPL. I actually think he will end up 8n Europe after two years. He's too young and too good for Saudi.

It is actually bad news for us.
Neves was going to be a plan C option for some team who misses on their top targets, which would free some competition for other players.

Liverpool (K.Thuram), Newcastle (Barella), Manu, Arsenal, Chelsea, and even rumoured to be City (they want Rice) along PSG (Ugarte), Barca, Bayern & Atletico are all looking for new CDM. Essentially all elite & fairly rich clubs other than RM.
Three clubs seems to secured their targets, Rice and Caicedo are the top remaining names then you have Amrabat & Lavia as consolation prize while Zubemindi is out of the market. Someone getting Navas could leave other options like Brozovic or Florentino Luís as more affordable option later in the market.

Maybe we could try Christensen at DM, get Walker or Cancelo on loan for right back and just sign Amrabat.

We need to sign a RB ASAP

Or we will have to go through another year of Kounde whining about being a RB again

Walker would be an interesting option, although it would be another older player, if he wants to leave City. He can play more defensive in a back 3 if needed and has the pace to go up against Vini.

I think of Walker as a short term solution while we look for the right player. Putting Kounde there again for another season would be stupid. He's clearly not comfortable there. I don't know what formation Xavi is going to play but it's clear Kounde is best as a CB.

I think Walker is on the verge of leaving Man City for Bayern Munich thats what was being reported yesterday. Maybe Cancelo on a loan will happen though.

Although today they're saying Walker is discussing an extension so who knows.

Cancelo would be ideal to fill in at Right Back for a year whilst we access our options, with there not being a standout candidate. It wasn't long ago that, for me, he was the best full back ( either side ) in the world and his passing was being described by many as like having Kevin de Bruyne at full back.

City do not want to loan him to us though. It has nothing to do with the rumour that Pep was looking out for us and didn't want a bad egg at Barca. Frankly, a rumour I found absolutely hysterical.

It's because they don't want to loan him to anybody who doesn't have the means or the desire to make the loan permanent. Hence why he went to Bayern instead.
