Have no idea why we're not going for Amrabat. He's the right age, a monster defensively and would be great in a double pivot with De Jong.
If he signs with AM he is going to beast it in la liga.

Oriol Romeu for 5m wouldn't be the worst idea. Just pair that up with a player with high potential and let it brew.

Amrabat and Brozovic are the best picks though if there is no high potential option on the scouting radar. Both Florence and Inter are looking for 25m

15m + Nico (with buyback) might get it done for Amrabat. I'm thinking Brozokic will take the Saudi money though.

I think they want Brozovic over him because he can play as a single pivot and still has 3-4 good years left.
Also experience with going deep in the Champions League, which is a tournament Barca wants to do well in again.

Brozovic for 2-3 years while they scout the CDM market coming up would be a great move tbh. Hopefully no financial constraints in two years too. Obviously hopefully we don't spend money like idiots either, but won't have all these restrictions on us.

Would be a better signing than Amrabat, Guido and other underwhelming players we're linked to.

Mason Greenwood might be a good shout now that all the controversy is over with. Would be a good opportunity for him to restart his career outside of England where the the media will crucify any club that signs him.

Thanks but no thanks.
He has talent, but he isn't in a position of need to warrant the massive negative package he has.
Should go to a lower team in Spain maybe, Valancia or something. Low pressure and exposure to bring his career back.

Doesn't have anywhere near the talent to warrant the negative PR either. Also while the case against him might be dropped he seems like the unhinged type who would probably end up beating up some other girl in the future so hard pass on this one.

This would be bad PR for any team, he's a talent but the kid is trouble. Can easily see more controversy in the future. Totally agree with DonAK

So rumors are Kimmich and Zubimendi are Xavi's first two choices. Others that we have been following or linked.

Amrabat, Diaz, Brozovic, Guido, Romeu, and the obviously yearly Parejo rumor as well. I'm currently not really a fan of a lot of these options and I'm afraid with Xavi having to have the last word on stuff he and we will fuck it up because he's far too Ridgid and obsessed with a certain profile a DM must have.
