The club just needs to make up its mind on a DM, because Xavi's favourites has no interest in leaving his club, let's settle on the back up option, so we can move on to a RB

The club should make a decision regardless of who Xavi wants. Even Pep at City doesn't make the final call on which exact player to sign. As Txiki explained Pep usually asks for a certain profile of player he wants and then their team get to work on players fitting that.

They even had to convince Pep that Haaland was the right signing for them last year as he was reportedly not very convinced about it and wanted Harry Kane instead(who would have been exceptional signing too tbf).

Xavi making the final shots on who to sign and being able to overrule certain signings as being reported makes no sense as no other club gives a manager that much power. Although I suppose this model isn't easy to work around in Barca when you have a bunch of people trying to get their guys in like Laporta and Mendes trying to make the Neves deal happen which Xavi also said no to.

Yea that's why I said the club needs to make a decision.

They have to sit down with the manager, accept their favorite option is off the board, come up with a list of 3/4 options and make a Consensus decision as to who they think will fit the profile best, so we can move on.

they clearly see RB as the least important role to fill given we have choices there, though none of them perfect, but the options are limited on the market, we have to make a choice on the DM, so we can get someone in at RB, if they choose to.

Go for Cancelo on loan.
Only thing left then is a DM.

Selling Ferran and buying Carrasco for cheap would be an upgrade as well.

Bart Verbruggen signing for Brighton. I'm sure a few here suggested him as a Ter Stegen replacement.

Timing wasn't right for us, but he will now cost north of 60m.

Xavi still with his hard on for Zubimendi. SMH.
He's not. Neither has Barca money for the release clause, nor does Zubi want to change teams right now, especially because they reached CL. It's just media at this point.

4-4-2. Lots of offense from this midfield, they should be spectacular. We'll just have to see how the defense holds up without Busquets, likely to ship more goals next season. Since all remaining funds will go to a RB, no more defensive help will be coming to the midfield.

Xavi's plan B for the pivot position is ORIOL ROMEU. He's seen as an alternative to Zubimendi and Kimmich for now.
@OnzeTv3

Maybe just maybe he shouldn't be the one who has the final word on stuff.

Lol that's clearly BS
Honestly, I won't be surprised.
Hapf of Europe are after a CDM, clubs are asking for insane money, main target is staying put. Cheap alternatives are getting bought by Saudis (Neves and Brozovic) and younger ones aren't ready or not really CDM (Vermeeren/Diaz)

Guy like Romeu could be got on a team friendly deal tbh, maybe as an expensive loan. We get him, stay put and go for Zubimendi next year or Kimmich if he doesn't renew.

Sound surreal tbh to even consider it

Has to be a joke, surely.
Amrabat is twice as good. If true just shows how dimented Xavi is.
