Well, considering we will again sign some idiot of a coach, like this guy from Sociedad, Rafa Marquez, or Motta, things will not be good.

We should not go in the path of experimenting with clowns, and we should get Kloop (in 2025), Naiglesmann, or De Zerbi.

These clowns from La Liga will get us another few embarrassing seasons in CL if we even qualify.

Klopp? WTF, the guy wants time off from the game, possibly retirement for good in his case, or some hiatus for several years.

Nagelsmann might be free if he fucks if up at the Euros, but he got sacked by the only big team he managed at Bayern... far from a sure bet. There are some signs that he doesn't deal with pressure well.

It is obvious that the next manager will be some kind of bet. We'll see if he is a good bet, or a losing one.

I don't think Pep or Klopp are coming mate...

The language barrier for managers has always been there. Bobby Robson arrived with an assistant coach, who some labelled as simply "the translator". :mou:

Good point. Our base age is getting incredibly low.

Must admit that I am a bit biased as I have never really seen it with Araujo. He has looked decent when I watched LP though admittedly, but when he had his droplets at Barca looked well off the level compared to Fort. But that might be a question of adaption.

Generally though, Fort as rotation for Cancelo should give him enough minutes to develop as a fullback here. At 18 he doesn't need huge first team minutes.

It is basically what we wanted Fresneda for, but Fort is way closer to the possession style fullback that Xavi initially wanted for RB.

But Fort going on loan to LP with Araujo coming here as depth? I don't generally have an issue with that either.

I'm not sure if Pimienta would go for Valle and Fort as his starting FB pairing btw as it's a little young for a LaLiga relegation battling side (though they are above that level this season, but the second may be more difficult) but it's an idea that could benefit both sides.

Alert: some ranting in my post.
I am going to be harsh, but my point is that we should plan the season with the idea of not giving Fort any minutes in 1st team as a goal, and we must not loan him to a team above Segunda level.
Being blunt, I think Barca strategy of rushing the youth is a massive failure that is going to fire back and waste most of the talents there, while making many bums gets minutes that we think they deserve.
There was a time when Mingueza was a rotation player here, and fans even liked him at some points, same for the likes of Jeffren, Tello, Cuenca, Bijan and the list goes on.

Players born in 2007 and most of those born in 2006 should have been playing in Juvenil A and getting few minutes here and there with B team, the club is trying to speed the process in a dangerous way atm and it is hurting everyone, and historically we tried this few times and it never paid well.
I want the first team to have a squad with more and more adults who aren't geriatrics, and with B teams having to fight hard to earn a chance to get minutes here, like it was before Koeman came here.
This should be one of the goals when planning the squad next season.

Don't think it has been mentioned but with Balde out for the season we are looking to bring in a midfielder, with the same rule used with Gavi.

Club sees Font plus a returning Alonso as sufficient coverage for Balde himself.

Unsure if the signing of Bergvall will be independent to this or not.

The issue with using that rule for injured players is that it then puts more pressure on next seasons FFP.

Probably not possible but wonder if any way could take Valle back from Levante and give them another couple younger players on loan until the summer to compensate.

But he is seemingly doing well so probably wouldnt allow it.

Bergvall will be a signing for next season and shouldn't impact this year's salary cap.

I think we are looking for a cheap loan deal to give us some more options to rotate and not totally burn out Frenkie, Pedri and Gundo. Probably won't find anyone who will actually improve the team a lot at this point.

One player I've quite liked for some time is Fran Beltran from Celta who has fallen out of favour with Benitez lately. Latest rumours are actually linking him to Girona. So if they get him maybe that open up a possibility to bring back Torre if we have an option to do that? Not like Xavi would use him much anyway but can give rest to other midfielders when needed.

Romano saying 8/9m bid in for Faye from Lens.

Loan with obligation to buy.

He later said we rejected it.
I think it was a good deal tbh, if we can add 20% from future sale like we did with Todibo then it is clear win.
Doesn't feel like a guy who will be ready for Barca anytime soon, and with serious questions about his age too.
Easy money IMO.

Solid deal but not something we should jump on straight away. Should be able to get at least same money if not better offers in summer.

Would prefer to have the next coach have a look at Faye in preseason and then decide what to do with him. He might prefer him over Cubarsi for all we know.

With Cubarsi now seemingly in full first team dynamics also can't afford to lose another CB for BA with not much time and money to find a replacement.

I think they can manage. Team is doing fairly well and promotion should be an afterthought (if not avoided) so nothing to worry about. Could promote the Cuenca kid if needed

What's this? Have I missed something?
