Wilfred Ndidi's contract is expiring, should we consider him? Not following Leicester in the Championship this season but looks like he has a more offensive role than he had in previous years. Still one of the best options we can get for free. Would prefer him over Guido for example. His injury history is a bit worrying though.

Rarely plays 90 minutes for some reason. Maybe that's putting a lot of clubs off. Otherwise if Barca deem him good enough, surely he'll have a ton of offers from PL and even Saudi.

Their winter market has been non-existent for once, so maybe they have the FFP squeeze hit them though? "Their" only signing has been Milos Lukovic for 5m this window, but via Strasbourg.

With EPL now counting amortization on 5 years max, they are most likely to slow down their policy and start getting some cash injection from selling then investing it later.
They were interested in Moscardo though, and said to be leading the race for Estevao Willian.

Rumours that he has agreed already signed for Sevilla.

He has been decent when watching LP.

His brother Marc Cardona used to play for the B team a few years back, and was very good for the level.

Oh, that is why he has familiar name.

He has same agent as our own Alex Valle (along former players Estanis Pedrola and Cucurella) so I can see a double deal where we get Cardona and Valle going to replace him in Las Palmas.

Agent gets a double commission there.

Talking about former LBs Stade Reims have sent official bid to sign Sergio Akieme from Almeria. IIRC we still have 10% of future fee. Won't be much but better than nothing I guess.

It's a shame Nice don't want to sell Todibo though, we could use around 10m we could get from that transfer.

Todibo will leave in summer anyway surely.

Wouldnt be able to do too much with his fee in now anyway.

Injury prone and lacks "Barca DNA" as in he's too much of a destroyer for Barca's liking.

But in his peak at Leicester he was a beast.

That would be a good move for us actually, or atleast for Valle himself as he wouldn't be ready for a first team squad position like Sergi Cardona is.

I don't see Cardona being particularly impactful for us, but if it is a question of depth then it is an OK move. Alonso is just a waste of cap space considering he is a) always injured and b) had to be converted to CB and didn't have the legs for LB anymore.

Cant say have ever seen Cardona stand out for Las Palmas but maybe these players go under radar a bit.

He will be up against Rodrygo/Valverde/Carvajal today most likely so perfect chance for audition if club are looking at him.

Decent height so maybe that LB/CB role that a lot of clubs are looking at just now.

If he is decent on ball, good height, good age and athletic could be worth his spot in squad for depth as Barca lack all of those.
