Why could Barca not beat Bayern and PSG to a player?

Doubt Doue will cost more on books for those two than Nico would for Barca.

Cant sign top players in their prime as too expensive..cant sign players with any risk coming into their prime...

If we were willing to go so big for Nico, 60m BO + around 15m GROSS, then what is 20-25m + 3m GROSS for a highly rated prospect.

Can understand not getting Doue as French talents tend to gravitate towards PSG, and not going for the Brazilian straight after the Roque debacle.

Personally I would like to see us go for a 10-20m signing for the B/A at the 18-19 year age bracket and return for Nico next Summer (provided we have word he wants the move then).

Olmo filling in for a season on the left would be an adequete strategy then. In the end, Madrid missed out on Mbappe and waited a year, winning the double with Joselu.

Wouldn't be opposed to us bringing in a high potential pacey LW for the right price, who knows HE/SHE could end up being so good,we no longer need Williams.

The team could do well, with someone who can just RUN, if nothing else.

Regardless not trying to sign players as think they will prefer PSG is no way to operate.
